Dov Ivry | 1 comments In March while doing another book I became aware of a controversy in Canada related to the assassination of John F. Kennedy. I knew absolutely nothing about this subject. I’m a Canadian, eh? I said I’ll dig into that controversy and it will give me a nice short book.

I had no intention of touching Lee Harvey Oswald, the alleged assassin.

I am not the sharpest tool in the woodshed but it took me less that one day to see that Oswald was innocent of all charges. That became the book. It is called: “Did Israel Kill JFK? -- Not Exactly.”

Here are the main points.

(1) He’s been framed with killing Tippit, a cop. At 1:03 Oswald was seen at a bus stop by the housekeeper at the place he was living. Tippit was a mile away. At 1:06 an eyewitness saw Tippet get shot. Several others heard the shot at 1:06. A civilian got on Tippit’s police radio and notified the network, officer down, at 1:07.

There is no way Oswald could run a three-minute even if he knew where he was to run.

(2) He’s been framed with attempting to kill Walker, a retired general, by shooting through his window at night.. In that neighbor-hood there was a dog who barked incessantly any time a stranger came by. The assailant to shoot at Walker had first to neutralize the dog. The assailant did neutralize the dog. Oswald did not know that neighborhood and that if he didn’t take care of the dog he would have woken up the dead. Walker suspected a former employee Duff. Duff himself bragged to a girl friend that he took the shot.

(3) Two minutes after JFK was shot from the sixth floor of the book depository cops entered the building and met Oswald drinking a Coke downstairs. The rifle allegedly used in the shooting had been well stashed amid heavy boxes, a task that would have taken two minutes. But let’s say it didn’t. If Oswald had tried running down those stairs he would have overtaken two women on high heels coming down at a slower pace. Therefore they can’t place him at the scene of the crime.

(4) The CIA presented a document saying that the Italian rifle had a unique serial number and the information came from the Italian government. Much later Andreotti, defence minister then, said the information is false and the letter did not come from the Italian government because he would know. The exclusive supplier of that rifle in Montreal told anyone who would listen that those serial numbers were used multiple times on rifles. The false document and the false information means that they had no murder weapon and could not link the rifle to Oswald if the matter went to trial.

The rest took a bit longer.

(5) Oswald worked for the CIA out of LA and this was suppressed.

He headed a phoney Fair Play For Cuba Committee branch in New Orleans, phoney in the sense there were no members and there was no attempt to attract members. He distributed pamphlets one day in August. Surrounding him were “members” of the branch. These guys were CIA agents from LA sent out specifically for that event. They were seen on TV.

A letter exists from the CIA operations head in LA to a Louisiana manager to make sure that the identities of the agents don’t become public.

No one told the Warren Commission of Oswald’s connection to the CIA and the pictures of him with the agents could be had easily.

(6) The guy who blew out JFK’s brains was Mertz, the Rambo of France. He lived in Paris near to the Duke of Windsor. He was nabbed on the grassy knoll by the Dallas Police. They called Katzenbach, filling in for RFK. Katzenbach asked Angleton of the CIA what to do. Angleton said let him and he was released immediately without questioning. In 1977 a CIA document surfaced which confirmed that they had detained Mertz, although he was using aliases.

For good measure there is this. Oswald is accused of trying to shoot the cop who arrested him at the theatre in a scuffle. If you fol-low the hand movements it becomes clear that it was the cop who tried to shoot Oswald. That’s why you have trials which Oswald never had.

Pete daPixie | 7 comments Last week at the 4th JFK Conference in Dallas, researcher Larry Rivera gave a presentation on the Altgens6 photograph. he has used Forensic Facial Recognition digital technology on the face of the figure that has been argued over for years as either Oswald or Lovelady. He also applied the same Facial Recognition techniques to what is known as "Black Hole Man", (the man who is seen against the Southeast wall of the entrance, shielding his eyes with his hands), to frontal photographs of Billy Lovelady. His results indicate that Oswald was the figure on the left of the doorway in the photograph and the figure shielding his eyes was Lovelady. Rivera has his book published next year and his Dallas presentation will shortly be on You Tube.

How about the fact that Osw..."Les, I'd be very careful stating FACT that Oswald was seen in the first (actually second) floor lunch room. This is according to Marion Baker's statements which are somewhat confusing. I recommend Stan Dane's 'Prayer Man' book that has a very interesting section on Baker & Oswald's whereabouts. Also I have edited much of Rivera's work for his forthcoming book and it is far more than 'ink-blot thing'.
Personally, I have never held that Oswald was up on the 6th floor, so I don't have him as an assassin, or at the Tippit scene. As a noted admirer of Kennedy, it is logical to think he would be witnessing the motorcade in the doorway of the TSBD.

This new book will answer many questions. Who actually shot Officer Tippet, who the Babushka Lady was, This story was never told...this true story is from one of the last known assassins that was there that day and shot JFK in the upper back.

So John, rather than just plug your book, why don't you just state who you THINK shot Tippit & who you THINK the Babushka Lady was?

Slowly may be the operative word here, after 53 years! So what is the truth? I've studied this case for years, read over 200 books and I have my theories and thoughts but zilch in the way of proof.
Like the HSCA I go for conspiracy, I strongly suspect JFK was shot from the front & there were more than just 3 shots & Bethesda & Warren were cover-ups, Oswald & Ruby enigmas.
But what is the TRUTH?
"I think that anybody who undertakes to write on a subject like this owes it to his intended reader to have what is proven or provable, and not theoretical. Even if the government killed the president, or if people in the government killed the president, it is irresponsible to say that without proof. We don't know these things because the crime was never investigated." Harold Weisberg.

Regarding 'patsies' what about James Earl Ray & Henry Paul?

Any recommendations on JFK Jr., books? (Beside your own.)
Also the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich provides a good template for JFK's hit.

Pete daPixie | 7 comments Les wrote: "Hi.. I got most of my info on JFK Jr from a very good documentary on youtube. I think it was called something like "The Death of JKF Junior." It should be easy to find and it is really good!!!"Yes, thanks Les, I think I know the youtube vid you are referring to. I have a document concerning the murder of John F. Kennedy Jr. It is by Anthony Hilder, the founder of Radio Free America.

Shattered (CoeurBrise) | 1 comments One thing that I heard about, I guess more conspiracy, and I might be wrong, would be that Oswald was framed, but he was actually getting something in return for assassinating Kennedy, Oswald may have gone out of the country, Cuba-I think- and was told to keep his head low and they will let him live, the whole "his best friend shot him" was staged. But I might just be stating stuff that is probually already known.
