We are drawing to the end of another year so tell me, what was your favorite classic (written by a woman) this year?

Feel free to list other books you enjoyed as well, they don't have to be written by a woman. :)

The two favorite classics written by a woman were To Kill a Mockingbird and Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl.

I also loved The Plague by Albert Camus.

Carol She's So Novel꧁꧂ | 585 comments New to me? The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton.

Rereads? Devil's Cub by Georgette Heyer. I do consider the best of her books as classics & this is my favourite book of all time.
