Powers RP discussion

Birdie travelled in a brisk walk. Te breeze blowing in her face kept her grounded and not wondering of in her own thoughts. Her brow was furrowed, but Birdie started to pay more and more attention what was around her, she soon becoming fully invoked with her surroundings and slowed down. Birdie took in what was around her for the moments she could. The sky was a dusty deep gray, sprinkled with an even darker colour.

Adrian let out a snort in his sleep, completely uncaring of the person getting closer and closer to his sleeping tree.

Treading lightly, she looked around. Maybe I should come here more often... Birdie thought, stopping. Although, the more and more she listened, she started to hear snoring. A bare...? Badger?. Wanting to find out, she walked closer. Birdie noted that whatever was there might jump and attack her, and so she got ready to flee or fight. Birdie stepped extremely lightly, and as she walked around a few trees, she looked up to find a- Sleeping man? The words she could not find to describe this finding, and all she could say was, "Eh?"

despite the softness of the sound Adrian was up and awake in less than a second and was promptly on the ground in even less. he landed face first and got a good deal of dirt from when he had tried to yelp.

"Hey, are you OK?" Birdie asked. She haden't meant to startle the young man. She stepped back, as to give the man room to stand up and address himself. While looking at him, Birdie saw that he had extremely spiky black hair, and rather place skin. Was he sick?

Adrian rolled over and spat out the grass and dirt in his mouth. "yeah, takes more than that to hurt me."

"Oh." Birdie said to the stranger. Was he going to stay down there? Was he a threat? Didn't look like much... As Birdie look at him while he talked, she also noticed his wide bright green eyes. He looked like the crazy person you would normally see in the movies. Birdie didn't know what else to say to the stranger.

"oh please i'm not going to hurt you. might spar with you a bit, if your any good at fighting, but otherwise your safe." he yawned loudly, looking similar to a predator having been awoken from its sleep.

"I never suggested anything like that." Birdie shrugged. It was obvious that this man was older than her, but how old? Birdie lightly shook her head, she really should stop being so noisy with others, and strangers.

Adrian looked at her and rolled his eyes. "you have a question ask it girly, i'm not going to bite." he grinned, baring his pointed teeth as he did so. he remained seated on the ground, knowing he was a lot less intimidating that way than when he was standing.

"I'm quite good thanks." She said, crossing her arms across her chest. She started to think about leaving, but where would she go? Not back to the fraction for sure, that is the reason she came out here. Birdie didn't also want to leave the pretty forest.

"would it help if i introduce myself? i am Adrian Magus, although everyone around here knows me as the Monster. don't know why though." he got up, revealing his great height, and looked for his hat. he found it in a bush and quickly stuck it on his head.

Birdie had not met someone who was teller than her before, so this was a first. She looked up to him, "I liked it better when you where sitting down, honestly." She smiled, scanning him quickly with her eyes. She wanted to see what the man had to offer.

Adrian chuckled lightly, revealing a surprisingly nice laugh. "i get that a lot, also get 'i liked it better when you were quiet' as well as 'shut up you moron!'" he then whistled softly and looked up at the response meow. Adrian looked at the very large black tom cat and smiled, "come on Shade, be polite"

Birdie looked up to see a large black cat. The child inside her suddenly jumped with a glimmer of hope, as Birdie stopped herself from calling out a name. She stood where she was, but unfolded her arms.

Shade hopped down and landed squarely on Adrian left shoulder. if it had been anyone else they would have fallen under the sudden weight and probably had a dislocated shoulder, as Shade was no light-weight and was easily forty pounds of heavy muscle, but Adrian merely grunted at the impact. "let me introduce you. this is Shade. although everyone thinks he is a pet i see him as part of the family. he's been with me for years, despite his youthful looks and behavior!"

"Shade? That is quite a nice name." She smiled. Birdie slightly sighed, remembering her three blacks cats she had had when younger. Although Birdie looked at how large Shade was, she wondered how many times Shade had had to land on Adrian's shoulders for him to become immune to the weight .

"i found him in the shade of our porch, back when i was a kid and Shade sounded a lot better than Porch to be honest. i took care of him throughout our time together so about what eleven years or so?" he looked at Shade when he asked this, who nodded, revealing he was a lot more than he appeared.

"That's a long time...So, from what he has just done, Shade can understand the human language?" She asked, looking at the large black cat and his glowing eyes. She studded him for a moment or two before looking back.

"yep. he understands a lot, probably more than we think. " Adrian heard his stomach rumble, as well as Shade's, and chuckled. "sorry but we got to go, hope i see you around!" he said as he turned and left.

Yukiko was taking her regular wander through the woods when she happened upon the two and Adrian's cat, she excitedly ran up to them and interrupted their conversation with, 'HEY MISTER, can I pet your kitty please? He just looks so cute and fluffy and awww.' she took a step back and a deep breath trying to calm down.

Adrian, about to leave, stopped and blinked. he looked at Shade, who sighed and gave a short nod. "well if Shade says you can then sure."

'Hey there little kitty,' Yukiko said gently stroking Shade's head, 'Naww you're so soft.' She stepped away again, 'Hi there I'm Yukiko Mitsu, I haven't seen you round here before who are you?' She tilted her head a little to the side.

"I'm Adrian Magus, although you probably know me better as the Monster. me and my brothers have only been here for a little while."

'You look hungry,' she speculated, ' and Shade definitely is, wanna go somewhere with food? And I haven't heard of a monster either,' she giggled, 'I only tend to know those in my Fraction, she stroked Shade's head again, 'sorry if I get annoying I just love animals,' she gave a wide grin.

"we then you'd probably like Marcus...on second though maybe not." Adrian said, considering his brother's own shifted appearance made his look warm and fluffy. "i haven't explored enough to know where the food is. mind leading the way?"

'Well there's a diner in the b=near by time, probably the place for food,' she said thinking aloud, 'but we'd probably have to eat outside, shouldn't be too bad of course I can keep it sunny and warm, I don't go into town that often so that's the only place I can think,' she grinned again and rubbed the back of her head.

"control of weather eh? i knew i guy who could make it whatever kind of weather he wanted, he even made it rain cats and dogs once! and the pelicans...." Adrian shuddered at the memory. "alright so you lead the way then!"
