I started reading and omg it's an amazing book!

yea I haven't gotten far into it yet. Only on page 8. But already I think its a really interesting idea. Can not wait to see what happens!

@Ines @Yelena Glad you guys are liking it so far! I thought that Cinder was a kick-ass female character.

Sooo I am only through chapter 10. page 96 sooo SPOILERS?

(view spoiler)[ But I am thinking that Cinder is the princess Queen Levana tried to murder when she was a child. I kinda wish that they didnt give such strong hints towards that so quickly in the book.

I agree with Ines
Its a really interesting story. The most unique way you canparallel the Cinderella story. But I wouldn't even say its all that similar. Cyborgs, robots, moon travel and magic.... its way more interesting then the typical Cinderella story.

@Yelena no, I haven't. I couldn't find Scarlet anywhere, but maybe we can continue with the series next month.

Have you tried amazon? Thats where I tend to get most of my books from.
But no havent finished yet :) But I think I will very soon! I will let you know when I do so we can talk all about it

Do you plan on reading them Aaron? Might be a drastic change from Stephen King but a good read nonetheless.

SO I have about 30 pages left to read.
I really like the idea and the story but I am kinda upset more things didn't happen in this book.
I guess after reading Throne of Glass I expected more...excitement? BUT that being said I am still interested in continuing reading the Lunar Chronicles, and I do still have 30 pages left... :)

I finished!!!!! Those last 30 pages did not disappoint :)
Now I want to know what happens next!!!! Is the next book on lunar series going to be our discussion/reading list or should I go ahead and tackle it on my own?

I finished 2! I completely agree with you Yelena , I wished that I picked it up earlier! It is one of my favourite stories now. Can't wait to read Scarlet!

Yes, Yelena, we will be reading Scarlet next month. Then Cress in March and finally Winter in April! This means we will have completed the whole Lunar Chronicles.
As you have read it so fast, we may be moving onto Scarlet on the 15th this month. I think that this will be better as you will still have the plot from Cinder fresh in your mind.

The queen is a bleeeep I hate her. Worst person in the world and crazy. It must be sad to be her. Ugly inside and outside and only way people like you isn't by their choice.

sup guys. i love Cinder so much! i read the first three books in December and I'm reading the last one, Winter right now. I loved all of them, but the third one, Cress is my fave if I needed to choose. :D

btw, this is just a suggestion, but I personally like to watch booktalks (which are videos that review books) on Youtube. I like watching PolandBananasBOOKS's the most. She's really fun and she has reviews of the entire Lunar Chronicles. Don't watch if you haven't finished the book tho, because there are spoilers!!

I just bought the first book and i'm trying to finish "the kiss of deception" as soon as possible so i can start on cinder. Super excited for this book! :)

Spoiler for Cinder --- (view spoiler)[ I love how Selene was right there under Kai's nose.... the WHOLE TIME... and when it all came out she was Lunar he never even considered it. especially when DNA parts of Selene were found after the fire when she was little... DUH that mean parts of her might have been injured!
Her Aunt is god awful worst person alive besides for the queen. As soon as the doctor said I was important and would get $$ I would have had him file some sort of papers that frees me from that witch. (hide spoiler)]

I am very interested in seeing where this story goes. I am happy it was on here as the groups book to read, introducing me to something new and exciting.

@yelena i'm liking it yeah! Though it has been hyped up a little bit for me I saw the plot twist coming and it's sadly not as interesting as I thought it would be, i will still be reading the other 2 books! So kts not that bad

Yeah, cuz it's shipping with lady Midnight which is being released on March 8.
