Zmeyka walked into the diner with Arana and led her to his favourite table in the corner. He pulled out the chair for her.
After Arana was seated, he took the chair opposite to her. He then passed the menu to her. He put his elbows on the table and his head in his hands, gazing at her, waiting for her order.
Zmeyka broke out into mild laughter, "Then you're just going to have to trust me on this." He said, "Vegetarian?"
"I thought so" Zmeyka said, her scent had helped him learn that fact, It was fresh, like the forest dew with a mixture of roses.. He absolutely loved it.
He ordered a flageolet and lemon tartines. Then sat back to admire her long hair.

"As you can tell, I'm not too used to being away from Nor Ciela," Arana sighed. "Eating anything other than the blessed fruit is not common for me."
"Don't worry, I will teach you all that you need to know..." Zmeyka said, stressing his voice on the words, 'teach' and 'everything'. It wasn't all admiration that attracted him to her. It was also some amount of sadism and the desire the pollute something so pure.
"Thank you," Arana smiled. "That would be kind of you. Perhaps you won't need to be dealt with after all."
"Oh?" Zmeyka asked surprised, "Don't trust people so readily you know. As cute as you are, someone might just eat you up" He growled, teasing her. It wasn't all a joke though.
Being in the sadistic mood, Zmeyka was, he leaned forward and lifted her chin up with one of her hands. He then bared his long canines at her. "Are you sure sweetheart? We're at a diner alone, and no one would ever know..."
He stared into her beautiful large eyes.
He stared into her beautiful large eyes.
Arana looked at him with a straight face. "I would know. And I know that you would do no such thing."
Zmeyka had never heard such trusting words ever before. He hid his canines. From this close up, her stern yet beautiful face looked to mesmerising. It was as if she had cast a spell on him. He couldn't look away.
Amidst his conflict, he heard an "Ahem." from the waiter.
His reverie was broken. Embarrassed as well as hesitant he shifted back to his chair. He looked away.
"I guess we should eat."

There was an awkward silence as they ate. Or was it only awkward for him? She seemed to be quite comfortable.
"So...umm, how is it?" Zmeyka asked, in an effort to change the heavy atmosphere.

" flageolet and lemon tartines" He replied, a bit curious.
"Arana."
"Arana."
He thought the better of it, "No...nevermind."
And the silence stretched on. He sincerely wished she would say something.

"It's been almost an year" He replied, relieved that she asked something, "What about you? You said you're not used to this stuff so you must be quite new here..."
Zmeyka said, "Well, now you can depend on me if you want to know anything." He smiled.
"Yes I do, my older brother is in university, and my younger sister is too young to go to school yet. I am unfortunately the middle child." Zmeya replied with a smile.
"Zaxion? That's the name of your brother?" Zmeyka asked, "So your brother is that guy who is going out with Greyson?"
"Oops," Zmeyka said, thinking that he had said something unecessary. Well those two were so obvious, she would have gotten to know herself anyways eventually.
Well, he did make it a point to keep track of vampires like him.

"Ah, well, nothing." Zmeyka said, "What about you Arana, ever dated someone?"
"So you just...like decided randomly whom to marry? Like how does that work?" Zmeyka asked a bit confused.
"Well..." Zmeyka pondered whether he should ask the question or not, "How does your kind...reproduce then?" He looked away.
"We don't," Arana answered. "We were all created at the same moment in the exact way we are now. Yes, Zaxion is my brother and yes, he looks older. Yes, we have parents, but we're all the same age."
"Woah. That is...news" Zmeyka said, "So does that mean you can't be in a relationship or it's possible if you want to?"
"It's possible," Arana replied. "But there are strict guidelines that must be kept or the angel will fall."
Zmeyka wanted to ask what they were, but he thought he had questioned her enough for now. He didn't want to be too obvious, and he was content with the information that she could be a relationship.
"Well, now that dinner is finished, should I walk you home?"
((continue on the street?))

Theodosia walks into the diner and sits in a small booth in the corner. Her jaw is still sore, but at least it's fixed. She sits quietly as she waits for Ignatius.
Ignatius took the seat opposite her and took the menu, sliding it in front of her. "I don't think you should eat anything too hard for now, might be tough on your just healed-jaw. Again, it's just a suggestion so yeah," Ignatius said, then looked down at his own menu, wondering what to eat. "I'll pay by the way," he told her.
"Thank you. And I'm just going to get a strawberry milkshake" Theodosia smiles softly. Strawberry milkshakes are her guilty pleasure.
"Well then, a mango smoothie for me," Ignatius smirked, happy that he was smiling and called for the waitress, ordering for both of them. "So, I hope you're feeling better, because I'd feel bad if you didn't," Ignatius told her, leaning forward.
"I feel a lot better. A bit woozy, but better nonetheless." She reassures him. "Have you ever been knocked in the face by a 50 pound punching bag?"
