Ginger took out some candy and swallowed it.

An orange cat entered through the window, slipping onto the floor and jumping up onto Cole's bed. It curled up and closed its eyes.

Ginger saw a cat come in, her pet squirrel, Acorn, quivered with fear.

The cat lifted its head for a second and then closed its eyes again. "Tell your squirrel I won't attack. It's fine," it said.

Acorn was still afraid, but stopped quivering. Ginger asked Cole "Who are you?"

"I'm Cole O'Malley and I'm normally a human being. And you are?" he asked, yawning and stretching.

"Ginger."

"Nice to meet you, Ginger," Cole replied, turning into a human.
