Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Hey. Mind posting the plot for future reference?

message 2: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments In the small kingdom of Qemmadour there lives a royal family with great power.  The queen has the gift to manipulate weather patterns. The king possesses superhuman strength. The youngest, a daughter, has the gift to heal others. The eldest, a son, is an illusionist who can make things appear different than what they are. The middle child, Girl A, seems to have missed out on this gene of great power.
Girl A is misplaced in her own family. Even the simple guards have more power than her. She is not fit to be royal, how can she be when she merely has the skills of a peasant?
Guy A is a prisoner, sentenced to execution after a ploy to steal the palaces prized possession (An enchanted sword) went terribly wrong. Guy A has made countless attempts to excape and return to his wandering theif life, but all have failed.
One day Girl A accidentally stumbles upon the information that she could gain the power she desires if she were to reach the cave of Vrapis. The problem is getting there, the trip would be dangerous and long and with Girl A having hardly ever stepped a foot out of the palace the feat seemed impossible.
Desperate, she secretly enlists the help of Guy A, promising his life/freedom in return for his help getting to Vrapis.

Thanks for creating it

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Can we do doubles and can I change a bit of the end?

message 4: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Sure, what do you have in mind?

message 5: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Okay let's say girl A had been outside but only once when she was searching for answers as to why she didn't have powers when she heard a bunch of kids talking about Vrapis so she asked around. No one would tell her but one guy said that one of the prisoners would know. So she goes and sneaks into the dungeons, she asked each and every one of them until she stumbled across Guy A. Turns out he's the one person who'd ever been there but he had secrets, things he hadn't warned her about on the journey.

And for the doubles, I was thinking her brother, could be Guy B, would be the heir and so he falls for a servant girl who is actually a rebel. Or Girl A's sister and a servant boy or guard.

message 6: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Alright sounds good to me.
I like the idea for doubles using Guy B and the servant girl. You mentioned that she could be a rebel, so why not take it to the extreme. Maybe the servant girl could be part of a rebellion that's plotting to attack the monarchy? So their relationship starts out as her assignment to somehow get close with a member of the royal house for purposes of intel or something?
Just an idea.

message 7: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Ooh yess. Thats good. So I guess I'll be Guy A, the prisoner, and Girl B, the servant-rebel girl. So let's say they have a ruthless father and thats why a rebel movement arises and so basically, all the kids turn on their father when they learn the truth? Ooooh and Girl B could be the 'rightful heir' of the crown or whatever.

Legends were written of a girl who'd free the kingdom from the damnation of their ruler. People will suffer for years. The Savior will be the source of utter power. The Savior; The Salvation. The Flame that would burn out tyranny and in the Ashes will be born a new rein. The incarnation of balance and peace between the people. War will come. Peace will follow.

Idk we could make that some kind of scroll that the rebels find?

message 8: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Yeah, that's a good possibility. However if you would like to make things seriously dramatic I would suggest leveling the playing field a bit. Making the rebellion only a slightly lesser evil than the monarchy. The 'savior of humanity' card has been over used in my opinion. Maybe make it to where the rebellion wants a fair monarchy, but wants to emprison/possibly kill or enslave those with power to make them pay for years of imposed turmoil. (Obviously the last part would be umbenounced to the general public because the rebellion needs all the support it can get which is where we can throw in the 'legend' thing, only it's something that the rebellion themselves came up with)
Oh shit, what if Guy A was Girl B's brother.....
So in my mind I have planned that in order for Girl A to get her powers something must be sacraficed. (In this case I am thinking Guy B's powers). Leaving the heir powerless. The king is getting older and weak, this combined with Guy B's powerlessness leaves the crown compromised. This is when the rebellion chooses to strike. Guy A and Girl A return to the kingdom unknowing of What Girl A's newfound powers had costs and find it under new rule (Girl B). The now ruling rebellion has set a bounty for any beings with magical powers. Girl A and Guy A are captured once Girl A is recognized as the former princess and taken to the palace. There they are taken to girl B, where guy A recognizes her as his self-presumed to be dead sister. (There could be background about how the king had previously instructed their parents death or something, giving Girl B motive to punish those with power)
Girl A talks her way into Girl B's good side and forms an 'alliance' as Girl B is unaware that Girl A now has power. Secretly Girl A and Guy A start planning a new rebellion of the rebellion with a few bleeding hearts from the kingdom.

I'm okay with your idea though if you would prefer it. I spend a lot of free time writing so that's probably where this twisted idea came from. XD
I know some people don't like playing twisted characters.

message 9: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments (I love twisted characters)

THAT. IS. PERFECT.

Honestly, I don't think I got it all but I got the main idea and holy shit. I'll re-read it to get it better.

message 10: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments I'm glad you like it. This is going to be fun :D

message 11: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Okay so this is what I understood. Tell me if I'm right or wrong.

Girl B and Guy A are siblings (how about twins?). Girl B is the rightful heir to the throne but behind her are the rebellions pulling her strings. So adding to Girl A and Guy A's plot, Guy B loses his powers to Girl A and so the rebellion strikes. They win the palace, killing the king and imprisoning everyone of honour to await trial. So Girl B is now the queen but she doesn't know what her fellow rebels are doing that behind her back, and killing some. But the rebels are her family and even when she finds out, she does nothing. So then there's a rebellion against the rebels lead by Guy A and Girl A.

How about at the end, Guy B has to kill Girl B or has to let someone kill her but he promises to get her back. Therefore, when his family gets the throne back, Girl A and Guy B are ruling but Guy B gets mixed up in Black Magic and brings Girl B back and she goes serial killer. The only way to get her back to him completely is for him to literally go to hell and back to retrieve her soul to get her back to normal. He asks for Girl A's help.

(Supernatural reference xD)

message 12: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Yeah, and sure, they can be twins.

and that sounds like a good plan, we will plan on that unless we happen to come up with something better along the way.

message 13: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Alright, sorry. I do that a lot, making huge plots. Tell me if I get bossy because idk, even though no one has ever told me I am but still, just in case. Okay, mind starting?

message 14: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments you're fine, and sure, no problem. Do you just want me to start now or would you like to make simple character sheets? I don't care either way.

message 15: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments I don't mind. We don't have to make Character sheets.

message 16: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Alright.

Novella held her breath, not daring to move even the slightest. She listened as footsteps drew closer. It was one of the guards, making his hourly rounds. Only today he was fifteen minutes early. Ella had been observing patrol patterns for the last few weeks, planning an escape to see the kingdom beyond the palace. Escaping her personal bodyguard had been hard enough. It seemed that everyone thought she was a silly girl, incapeable of taking care of herself. Slowly the footsteps passed her hiding place in the bushes and faded into nothing again. She drew a deep breath and cautiously glanced both ways before getting up from her hiding place and heading to the servants exit. She pulled the tattered cloak tighter around her, making sure the hood covered her face and silky raven hair. The guards on post at the exit didn't pay her any mind as she walked past. This trick would only work once, she had to make this count.

Ivan was busy training in the court yard. As heir to the throne it was important that he learned effective battle strategies and how to properly handle various weapons. Today he was working on hand to hand combat. His sparring partner, a palace guard with slight superstrength ability, was taking a pretty good beating. One thing that Ivan had learned was that brains could easily beat brawn with the right tactics. The young heir definately had the upper hand in the department of tactics, of course he probably had an unfair advantage as he had been groomed to think a certain way from a very young age.

message 19: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Ronan sat in his cell with a grunt as he waited for dinner. He hated this shit. His place wasn't in the dungeons! His place was outside but now his freedom slipped away because of a stupid mistake. How could he be so stupid?! He sighed as the guards pushed the plate of food into the cell. He began eating hungrily. It was always the same thing but something was better than nothing.

Valerie snuck into the maids room and past the guards, quick and swift. She made her way to a wardrobe and dressed herself in their uniform. She made sure not to forgot to cover her tattoo; the very mark that could give a way where her loyalties lay. She shook her head and grabbed some medicines and salves before she walked to the sparring room, making sure to make herself seem like a maid, her head lowered to the floor and her body caving inwards. She reached the room and slipped in from the maids door. She waited for the prince to finish his spar.

message 20: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Novella half expected to be caught even though the guards were sloppy with their job. She didn't relax until she had dissappeared into the orderly chaos of the kingdom. Now the question was where to begin. She started to walk the streets, learning very quickly that in order to not be trampled one had to move relatively quick. She passed various venders selling everything from well worn trinkets to half rotten fruit. With the combination of the surging crowd and the general smell of filth Ella felt as if she were suffocating. This was one environment she was not used to. She glanced around, looking at the faces of various people. There was a mother with what looked to be her three children buying apples at a fruit stand, There was a young girl staring into the window of a bakery and admiring the bread on display. An old man stood at a trading cart, undoubtedly debating if he should make the proposed trade. The chaos of it all was actually sort of comforting. Someone in the crowd caught Ella's eye, a boy who looked to be around her age. He swiftly moved through the crowd, navigating it like it was nothing. She almost didn't realize that he was pickpocketing random people he passed. He was skilled. She frowned and weaved through the crowd herself, keeping him in sight.

With one more calculated blow Ivan's sparring partner fell to the ground. Ivan wiped the sweat from his brow before holding out a hand to help the guard up. The man took it and pulled himself up, wincing a bit. "... I seem to remember the old days, when this situation used to be flipped." He said, gengerly reaching up and touching an already forming bruise on his left cheek. Ivan laughed heartily, "Oh how the tables have turned! If it's any consolation though, I'm sure I'm going to have one hell of a bruise where you decked me in the jaw."
The guard chuckled, "duly noted my prince."

message 21: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Ronan sat back again and closed his eyes. He was so hungry and the food wasn't enough. It never was. He smiled sadistically at the guard that came in. "Going to let me out on a walk, are we?" Ronan said sarcastically. If a guard, alone or not, was in here without food, then there had to be a reason. "What? Cat got your tongue? I've been here for a year now, the least you could do is give me a damn sentence in return." The guard still didn't reply. Ronan sighed and sat back again.

Valerie walked forward and curtsied when he was done. "Your highness," she said, a purr in her 'r's and a slight hiss in her 's's. "I was ordered to tend to your wounds for you," she lied without any problem. She was a good liar, a very good liar to say the least. "Please, take a seat," she said, pushing a chair closer as she set her basket down.

message 22: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Novella watched as the boy made his way out of the crowd and over to a small group of others around the same age. She pushed her way out of the crowd as well and headed towards the group. She stood there a couple moments, trying to find something to say "You know it's not exactly nice to steal from people." She said at last. The boy turned and looked at her, "It's not exactly nice to sneak up on people either but you did it." He said, crossing his arms over his chest and glancing her over. "Say, I've never seen you before....you're not from around here are you?"
Ella took a deep breath and sighed, greatful that she had thought to wear some of her brothers old common clothes, "no, not exactly." She answered. The boy smirked, "well, welcome to the lovely kingdom of Qemmadour." The sarcasm in his voice was overwhelming. The boy tossed her one of his stolen goods, a tarnished silver pendant with a chipped pale blue stone in the middle. "If you're lucky that might fetch you a nice price at the lacal trading post." He sorted through the rest of his new found treasures and coins. "Rule number one: Do anything you have to to get by, even if its illegal, just don't get caught."

"Ah, well I'm afraid your job is fairly short today." Ivan replied. He had half the mind just to dismiss her, but he didn't want to get an innocent maid in trouble for not doing her job. He knew his father was not very kind hearted. If he were to find out that someone was not doing their job there would surely be a price to pay. The prince sighed lightly and took a seat in the chair. He ran a hand over his honey blonde hair in an attempt to make it not look as disheveled as it surely was.

message 23: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Ronan watched as another guard walked in. The guard walked into the cell. "Tell us about the rebel movement," he said.
"I don't know shit, I've been hauled up here for a year," he answered as he got a punch in the stomach.
"I can do this all day," The guard said.
"Oh come on, Sold. Can I call you Sold?" He said.

Valerie nodded. "May I see your hand?" She asked, seeing his fist all cut up. She would leave the bruise on his face for later. She moved her hair out of the way and inspected his hands. She knew enough about healing to know how to treat wounds, except she didn't want to treat his wounds, she wanted to make them worse.

message 24: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments "......nice to know." Ella murmured, glancing at the pendant in her hand. There was a commotion coming from the street. People were pushing and shoving eachother, trying to get out of the way of something. Ella glanced up again towards the crowd, "what's going on?" She asked, trying to figure out what the sudden problem was. "Oh." The boy sighed, "It's nothing, everyone just tends to panic when the kings men show up." As if on cue Ella spotted the glint of swords and armor in the sunlight. She swore and hid behind the boy and his friends, trying to somewhat blend in. The boy chuckled slightly, "by that reaction I take it you're not exactly innocent yourself."
"Not exactly" Ella admitted in a whisper.
"Well you're off the hook today. I heard  they are out on official business. Something about looking for one of the princesses or something. Apparently one went rogue or something and escaped." He smirked slightly.
Ella bit the inside of her lip, she would have less time than she thought.
One of the boys friends, a girl with short brown hair rolled her eyes, "oh please, that's just a rumor. They have power, why would they want to be around common folk like us?"
The boy scoffed, "The way you always talk about them is sickening it's like you want to be one of them." He snapped at the girl.
The girl rolled her eyes again, "oh please I'm not one of those people, we both know that if I was I would of made to trip to Vrapis a long time ago." The pair laughed at the statement.
Ella frowned slightly, not getting it, "wait....what? What's that?"

Ivan held out his hands for the girl to inspect. He wondered why his father just hadn't sent his youngest sister if he had been so worried about it. It would of been quick work for her. He had learned not to question the king's motives though. Instead he decided to make light conversation. "...how did you get stuck with such a job as this, has my father finally ran out of mudane tasks to assign you?" There was a slight bitter tone to his voice, although he did not question the king, he did not agree with all of his methods either.

message 25: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Valerie didn't look up. "His highness tries to keep us working to make sure we do not forget what we have learned," she answered solemnly. She couldn't help but let her lips quirk at how easily she could just talk to him and complete her mission but she didn't want to seem to suspicious.

Just then, sirens sounded and yells, that the princess was missing. The guards that were trying to torture the information out of Ronan ran out, accidentally leaving the door unlocked. Ronan grinned he got out but instead of running, he went to some of the prisoners to let the out, rebels, too.

message 26: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments "Wow, you must not get out much." The boy sighed, "It's a myth really. In said myth It's believed that anyone who makes it to the cave of Vrapis will receive the gift of magic. Apparently the cave has an enchantment or something on it." He laughed, "At least that's the story we were told as children. I'm convinced it was a strategy to get us to wander out into our doom.....an attempt at one less mouth to feed."
Ella felt her heartbeat speed up, why had she never heard of this before. "Oh, alright." She saw the guards making their way back around towards them and decided now would be a good time to dismiss herself from there presence. "I feel I've troubled you enough for one day." She stuck the pendant deep down in her boot. "Maybe I'll see you around sometime." She soundlessly slipped into a nearby alley, hoping to buy herself just a little bit more freedom. She needed time to think. She needed time to find out more about Vapris.

Ivan sprang up when he heard the alarms and distant shouting. The alarms were never a good sign. The first thing that came to mind was an attack, but no, this was not the right kind of chaos for an attack. If it was an attack more people would be grabbing weapons. There would be cannon fire and sounds of war. This was different, this was sounds of panic and urgency. He disregarded the maid and grabbed one of his swords that hung on the wall. He had to find out what was happening.

message 27: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Valerie rolled her eyes at him but put her things back in the basket and went back to the maids entrance. She snuck out and back to the rebel warehouse.

Ronan freed three people then instructed them, "go, there's something i have to do. Take the back entrance and kill anyone you have to kill, understand?" He asked and ran back up the stairs.

message 28: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Ella slowly snuck down the narrow passage, keeping an eye behind her to make sure no one was following, however she forgot to check in front of her.
A guard caught sight of someone walking through an alley and stopped. "Hey, you, come out here!" He yelled, finding the character highly suspicious. Ella glanced up and gasped, by now the shout had gathered attention and another guard had come around back. There was no where to run now. She quickly assessed the situation, trying to think of what to do. There was only two options and she wasn't about to take the one that involved her certain capture. She grabbed the overhang of one of the shabby shacks and pulled herself onto the roof. It didn't take long for the guards to react and follow suit. Ella ran and leaped onto the next roof, the guards close behind, they had seemed to aquire about five more fellow members of the profession. She however had the advantage as she was nimble and quick. About three roofs later she caught her first break of luck when the roof gave way under one of the guards taking out three of the guards pursuing her. Now she just had to outwitt the other four.

Ivan rushed to find out what was going on. He stopped one of the frantic guards who hurriedly told him what was going on. Ivan was on his way to the stables when he heard shouts of escaped prisoners. He changed course to head to the dungeon instead. Stopping rogue prisoners was far more urgent on his list of priorities than finding his sister.

message 29: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Ronan turned to them, "go!" He yelled to the others, going in the other direction to where the guards were coming. He punched a few and then the stopped him by pushing him to the ground. "Bastards," he growled.

message 30: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Ella managed to loose another two at a large gap a couple blocks down. The two of them hadn't been able to clear it. By now she had a huge grin on her face, this was the most adventure she had had in months! Ella spotted a cart full of hay ambling down the road. The perfect opportunity. She made her way to one of the highest roofs and stopped, making the guards believe that she was cornered now with absolutely nowhere else to run. They reached the rooftop and she held her hands up in surrender. "alright, alright, you win boys." she said slowly backing towards the edge of the building. "There's no where else to run...." she glanced over her shoulder, perfect timing. "but there are places to fall." she smirked before taking a leap off of the building. She landed roughly into the cart, the hay absorbing most of the impact but not all. The air had been knocked from her lungs but that didn't stop the smile on her face. What did was Jones, her personal bodyguard, suddenly standing over her. "You are in so much trouble!" He growled, grabbing her arm and hauling her to her feet. Ella had a sinking feeling in her stomach as he more or less dragged her in the direction of the palace.

Ivan had managed to prevent at least a couple of prisoners from escaping, but by the time he had gotten there, there hadn't been much he could do. Ivan bit his lip as he left the dungeon and headed to the throne room. He knew his father was not going to be happy about any of this. It was all Novella's fault, if she would just do as she was told this disaster would of never happened.

message 31: by Eden (new)

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Ronan was dragged back to his cell and thrown in. He scraped his hands and knees on the floor... Again. He sat back on his arse and took a deep breath. He huffed, "bastards," he repeated.

Valerie didn't make it far before the head maid caught her and made her go back to the maid quarters. Valerie growled but went to 'work'.

message 32: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Twenty minutes later Ella was back at the palace, standing before her father in the throne room.
"I just don't know what I'm going to do with you." The king said, breathing a heavy sigh. "You know the dangers, you know how to behave....This would be different if you were some child, but you're not Novella!" His voice began to rise. "You risked your kingdom, and for what?! A couple hours of childishness! And to top it all off you made me, no every resident of the palace, look like a fool by running like some fugitive!"
"Oh please." Ella spat crossing her arms over her chest. " your sitting there, acting like this is about me, but it's not! You don't care about me, I'm just your powerless dissapointment. All you care about is your precious throne. I regret nothing!"
The kings face turned an intense shade of red Ella didn't know even existed.
"Very well." The king replied, all too calmly. "As long as you want to act like some fugitive you will be treated like one." He turned towards his personal guards, "Take her to the dungeon, take no special treatment with her. Send word when she finally straightens out and starts acting like a princess again." With that the subject was dismissed and the King returned to talking with Prince Ivan about what they were going to do. The guards seized Ella and roughly pulled her in the direction of the dungeon. She had never imagined that her father would resort to this of all things.

Ivan thought that his father's punishment was a little extreme but pushed the thought from his mind. After all, Novella had brought it upon herself and he had greater things to worry about, such as capturing the escaped convicts and upping security. Obviously they had become too sloppy with their job. He was sure the guards on duty would have to answer to his father later.

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments The Queen, Georgia, gasped when she came in and saw her daughter being dragged away. "What is the meaning of this?!" She yelled out as her daughter disappeared out of sight.

Ronan back and crossed his arms when other guards came in. He thought they were coming for him but they had a pretty little thing being dragged. He whistled at her, "hot," he joked out. A guard came in and punched him for it. He spat the blood that flooded into his mouth.

Valerie went to the maids halls again and to the throne room where she thought she heard the prince go in. She opened the door slightly and peaked in, listening in.

message 34: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments The king breathed a tired sounding sigh, "please, Georgia, don't make this any harder than it has to be. What she did today was out of line, she needs a reality check." Ivan bit his lip, knowing better than to interject. He could only imagine what sort of argument he was about to hear.

"Hands against the wall." A guard ordered of her though he had already forced her into that position anyway. He started patting her down, searching for weapons. "Watch yourself" Ella growled. "There's a dagger in my left boot, that's all I have."
The guard murmured an apology before taking the offending dagger from her boot. He unlocked the door of a cell and held it open for her. Ella murmured something incoherent as she walked into the cell and plopped down in a corner on the stone floor. She crossed her arms across her chest as she glared at the guards. At least she wasn't stuck in one of those rediculous dresses.

Georgia said, pacing back and forth as she ranted.

"Whats a pretty little thing like you doing down here?" Ronan asked when she sat down and

Right now she is acting like a rebel and I will not stand for that!
Ivan awkwardly glanced from his mother to his father. "...well, I should go check on the guards at the gate, make sure everything is back in order." He said before quickly dismissing himself.

Novella debated on if she should answer the guy or not, finally she figured it couldn't possibly do her any further harm. "....let's just say the king doesn't exactly appriciate people who cause chaos in his kingdom." Ella muttered bitterly.

((actually no, I just liked the name 'Ivan' XD ))

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments "And so you decide to have her thrown into those filthy dungeons?!" Georgia yelled back. "These guards of yours ARE fools if a magic less young girl can outsmart them. She is still your daughter." She said. "Fine, have her stay in the dungeons but be punished?! What was the point of that order, Gregory?! I will not stand by while my daughter lays in pain. Anyone who touches her, with or without your orders will seal their fate."

Valerie listened carefully and then left the halls to follow Ivan. When she spotted him, she pretended to run, "your highness! Your highness!" She called as she ran.

Ronan sat back, "and who are you?" He asked.

She is punishing herself by acting as a barbarian." He breathed a sigh and walked over to where his wife stood. "I will make sure that in the meantime she is handled with respect, and in the future I will consult you before I take such drastic actions." He slowly brought up a hand to softly touch Georgia's cheek. "I hope you understand I just have her best interest at hand...."

Ivan stopped walking and turned around, seeing a maid running towards him. "Yes?" He asked, turning back and meeting the girl halfway.

Novella sighed, ".....me, I'm nothing special.I'm just Ella... A girl in the wrong place at the wrong time." The thing that she didn't mention was that that place happened to be in the palace as a member of the royal family.

She answered, her voice lower. "Now, please. She is our daughter and you cannot force her to be someone she is not." She said and kissed his hand. "Think about it," she said and slipped back out of the throne room.

"Oh, your highness, a-are you alright?" She panted. "I apologize. I was tending to your wounds and then utter chaos came down a-and you left. I hope you are well. Please, your highness, come." She said.

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Gregory took a deep breath, walking back over to his throne and sitting down. He still thought that his order had been reasonable, but sat considering it anyway.

"Oh, it's no big deal. I am fine. Your services are not necessary." He replied. He had had worse injuries go untreated before. Besides, he could just go ask his youngest sister, Sage, to heal him later if he found it necessary. "Now if you excuse me, I have business to attend."

Ella felt something poking into her foot and dug it out of her boot. It was the pendant the peasant boy had given her earlier that day. She inspected it, turning it over in her hand. It made her remember the information she had heard. She glanced around, making sure the guards were out of hearing distance, "Now that I've answered your questions I have one for you......what do you know about the cave of Vrapis?"

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments "Your highness, please, it will only take a few minutes," Valerie said, letting a bit of panic slip into her voice. "I want to take care of your wounds," now expecting a smack on the face like so many maids and servants got.

Ronan tensed and went from playful to cold. "Who wants to know?" He asked.

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Ivan bit his bottom lip, thinking it over. In the long run just letting her would probably prove quicker than standing here, arguing with her. "....alright, fine.....but let's make it quick."

Ella rolled her eyes, "obviously me, I'm the one who just asked you." She answered looking at him expectantly.

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Valerie gave a sigh of relief and nodded. She walked to a room and held the door open for him. She was so thankful she was an awesome actress.

"How do you know about Vrapis, princess?" He asked. "Vrapis is only a story told to children of common folk. You don't seem like a commoner."

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Ivan entered the room, breathing a silent sigh. The way it looked he wasn't going to get anything accomplished today. Basically a whole day had been thrown to waste.

"Princess?" Ella laughed bitterly, "I am no princess. If I truly were than I would not of been thrown down here to rot! So what if royal blood flows through ones veins, it counts for nothing if you have not the true mark of a royal. A powerless girl such as myself could never be a princess." She realized all too late that she had said too much in her bitter rant. "......I heard about Vapris out in town earlier today and now I'm just looking for answers......so do you know anything or not?"

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments Valerie grabbed that basket and put it on the table. She gently took his hand again to inspect the wound.

"I meant Princess as a term of endearment," Ronan raised his eyebrows and listened to her rant. He shruggex. "Why should I tell you anything? For all I know, your just another way to try to get me to talk." He said, crossing his arms.

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments Ivan glanced around the room as the maid inspected his hand. He hoped she would hurry up. He had bigger things to attend to.

"Right....sorry, it's been a long day." Ella sighed. "As for your last statement, I can not present you with any adequate reason. However your position could not get much worse even if I were here to oust you, the way I see it you haven't much to loose. Your resistance to tell me  proves one thing anyway, it is not just some silly folk tale....So on that belief I have a proposition, that is if you are willing to listen and answer a simple question...."

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments She picked up the salve and gently applied some on the wound. It was supposed to sting a little but nothing more. She then grabbed a bandage and started to carefully wrap it around his hand. "You should wear gloves, when your training to avoid such wounds," she said to him, her eyes shooting up to look at him before she shifted them away.

Ronan crossed his arms. "The only reason I wouldn't tell you is because your a royal. Your just another one of those arrogant bitches of the court. Oh wait, you are." He said sarcastically.

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 1079 comments "I used to, but I found they were quite constricting." Ivan replied, "besides, I've gotten worse injuries from just being generally clumsy." He smiled slightly.

Novella sighed, she would have to watch what she said from now on. She leaned against the wall, smirking slightly "That's a lot of talk for someone who seems to have his own head shoved up his ass. However I will not argue with you on the fact that the court is a bunch of 'arrogant bitches' in fact I could think of a few choice words myself."

Eden Kabeer (edenk) | 47001 comments "But being constricted is better than getting wounds and gaining scars," Valerie said, continuing what she was doing with his hand.

Ronan sat back. "I don't know what that has anything to do with anything but okay," he said, glancing at Ella.
