Children's Books discussion

Lately there have been a few 'rotten apples' making appearances in the group. In the interest of maintaining discussions that are focused on reading books, and that are courteous and harmonious, I have been deleting comments, and even threads, with little or no notice, that violate the rules of the group or that are personal attacks.

Trolls will not be fed on my watch.

Thank you to all the patient, active, and long-term members. Your participation and support is always welcome, even if it may seem as if sometimes we/ I take you for granted.

And thank you new members and lurkers; we hope to keep this group a place where you can feel safe and comfortable.

In case you've been looking for the rules and cannot find them:

*When posting in the threads, please treat your fellow members with courtesy and respect.
*Authors welcome but please do *not* discuss your books except in the designated Author's Corner Folder. Mention of your book(s) by title and/or description in other book discussion threads and/or the Introduce Yourself thread are not permitted and will be deleted by the moderators.
*Those who abuse the rules *may* be blocked at the moderators' discretion.

PMs welcome. I don't bite.

Special message to authors!

Today I deleted a certain "Jenny" because she promoted her book in three separate threads, none of which were in the Authors' folder. And of course she hasn't contributed anything else to the group.

Enthusiasm is wonderful. But that was obviously spammy marketing. *You* know the difference. If you know any other authors, please remind them to check group rules before posting!
