I like to look at new release lists. I am particularly fond of cozy mysteries, and their is a new list coming out every first Tuesday. This site lists all the books coming out in the future, and is good for finding something new. http://cozy-mysteries-unlimited.com/2...
I have been wanting to read "The Invention of Wings" by Sue Monk Kidd for a very long time, so I am going to choose this author.

I have lots of new authors on my TBR list! I don't know yet which one I'll pick, most likely a standalone novel.

This is the first of his novels that have been translated to Swedish. I´m currently reading it and it is amazing, wonderful and fantastic. Laurus by Eugene Vodolazkin
Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions. This is another difficult one. I am overdue on getting acquainted with Saul Bellow, Phillip Roth, Jonathan Franzen, Terry Pratchett, Peter Carey, and so many millions more. I think that the approach for this category is going to be on the reverse for me. No planning. Whatever book takes my fancy as I go along with the others on the list, if it is by a new author, that's the one I will count.
The next selection for my book club is The Virgin Cure. I just finished and absolutely loved it - will definitely be looking for more books by Ami McKay.
