I'm in! Casual Reader here!
This is the first scavenger hunt I've ever participated in. We'll see how this goes! :D

Storm, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask :)
I will give this a try! I am a casual reader and because it is my first time I don't think I will pick.
Karrie wrote: "I will give this a try! I am a casual reader and because it is my first time I don't think I will pick."Thank you very much!! I'm excited to give it a try.
First timer here. Please sign me up as casual. I'll hold off on the picking, thank you very much. ;) "It wasn't a pick! It was a SCRATCH!"
I would like to sign up if it's not too late, as a casual reader only please. I think I played a round quite a long time ago (over a year at least) so a bit rusty. Thank you!
I'd like to join too. I'll go with being a casual reader, and I'll pass on being a picker this time.
I'd love to sign up for this challenge. I'm a rapid reader. I'd rather not be a picker this time so I can see how it works, but if you really need me to, I'd do it :)
I would like to sign up as a Rapid Reader, if it's not too late. I do not want to be a picker this round.

General Rules and Info
This challenge will be an Individual twist on the TLC Team Scavenger Hunt.
* The challenge will start January 6th and will run through March 16th.
* Each week 10 items will be posted. The items will be picked by a different player each week. The items will only be good for 1 week. You will have until Noon (est) the following Wednesday to claim your items read.
* To claim an item you must find the item in a book or books you are reading that week and you must finish the book/s to be able to claim the item.
You can find all your items in 1 book or in 10 different books, or any combination in between.
* Players will get 1 point per item they claim in the allotted time frame. Points will accumulate through the challenge and the player with the most points at the end of the challenge will be announced the winner.
* The items are going to be picked by the players, submitted to Jennifer ♔Princess Penguin♔ and will be posted Wednesday at Noon (Eastern Standard Time). When signing up please state whether or not you would like to be a picker. Also, please state whether you are a Casual reader (1 to 2 books a week) or a Rapid reader (3 or more books a week).
* You can read any format or length of book. Dead tree versions, ebook, audio, novel, or novella. However, the book must be listed on GoodReads. Re-reads are ok, but you can only claim the book for one week’s items.
* You must provide a link to the book, the date you read it, a 1-5 star rating, the location & the sentence you found the item in. If you don’t provide all those items you will not get the point. Also, feel free to write a review but it is not mandatory.
* You can claim points all at once for the week, or after each book you finish, but points not claimed by Noon the following Wednesday will be forfeit.
*Each week a different player will pick the items. Please start thinking of some items now. You can use items from other GR Scavenger Hunts if you like, but the item can only be used once for this challenge. So if someone posts an item you had chosen before your week to post you will need to come up with another item.
*Items can be as hard or as easy as you like. For example, you could choose the word "ring". Which could mean a ring on your finger, the ring of a bell. If you wanted to make it harder use “diamond ring” to exclude bells. I suggest using a few easy and a few hard when it is your turn to post.
*Remember to please state whether or not you would like to be a Picker and if you are a Casual reader (1 to 2 books a week) or a Rapid reader (3 or more books a week)
