Very little people of those times knew about God, Heaven and Hell. Only the concept or the idea of it. Most believed in Gods and Goddesses. The people of those times believed that if they did well by your Gods and Goddesses, they would be sent to a place of paradise and forever joy. If the people didn't, they would be send to a place of flames and hardship.
