Hi again!

Having recently read the Glass series, I noticed that blood and blood magic kept popping up and one thing that really hit me especially in Spy Glass, is that everyone seems to have the same blood type. Shouldn't there be blood poisoning or blood-borne infections happening among those that use blood magic?

I realize that this wouldn't really be an issue with tattoos, but when Opal started to have syringes injected into her full of Finn's blood; it started to bother me slightly (besides the obvious creep factor). I would think the kirikawa ritual would also be prey to this sort of thing.

That is a good question. I really didn't think about blood types, poisoning, and infections when I was writing. Guess I should have considered that. Or I could say that the magic in the blood purified it so there wouldn't be any problems of compatibility :)
