I think it would be really cool to see what some of you guys' favourite quotes are.

I felt a surge of frustration. If an amplifier could make it possible for me to be a real Grisha, then I didn’t want to wait for some mythical antler. I wanted a real one. Now.

“Because this was meant to be. The stag was meant for you, Alina. I can feel it.” He looked at me. His hair was still a mess, and in the bright morning sunlight, he looked more handsome and more human than I’d ever seen him. “I guess I’m asking you to trust me,” he said.
What was I supposed to say? I didn’t really have a choice. If the Darkling wanted me to be patient, I would have to be patient. “Okay,” I said finally. “But hurry it up.”
He laughed again, and I felt a pleased flush creep up my cheeks. Then his expression became serious. “I’ve been waiting for you a long time, Alina,” he said. “You and I are going to change the world.”

Oh my God!!!My favorite has always been "Make me your villain," but I love every single Nikolai quote out there, too!!

Oh god. Alright, so I'm that person on tumblr who has created like a million quote graphics, so here's a few of the ones I've used:

"Don't patronize me, boy!" Her voice cracked out like a whip. To my amazement, I saw the Darkling stand up straighter and then scowl as if he'd caught himself.

The fact that she has this effect on him SO MANY YEARS later makes me so curious about their past relationship. No doubt she was super hard on him growing up, lol.

I've never heard of the sentence before the Darkling says, "I will strip away all that you..." Where did you find that? Cuz that sentence makes me start going cross eyed with pure joy. %D

I saw it on Tumblr. Someone saw it on the UK Amazon site I think. :)

"I will strip..." comes from the Fierce Reads #MakeWarNotLove campaign on Valentine's day when they released select R&R quotes. :) However only the "I will strip away..." part was released, not the rest so I'm guessing someone added it?

Okay so someone saw this whole thing on the UK Amazon's mobile site for Ruin and Rising:

Then they posted it on Tumblr. Leigh actually reblogged a graphic that featured this entire paragraph, so I'd say it's definitely legit. Otherwise she probably would have said it wasn't from the book or she would have corrected it if it wasn't legit. I guess we'll have to wait and find out!

Hmm. I am not sure about that quote. (The beginning, that is.) But the rest is real, at least :) But also.. that isn't a nice quote, hih. :)

I'm not really sure why I like this quote so much, I guess it's because it shows how much gaining the second amplifier has changed Alina. And in a way, She is starting to become a bit more like the Darkling, even if she doesn't realize it.
