Femke This is the permanent board for The Assassin's Blade, it is the bind up for the event that happened before Throne of Glass.
We are also reading this book in the marathon that starts on January 1st 2016.
Spoilers are welcome.

Happy reading!

Ashleigh | 68 comments I'm really excited to reread this entire series. This is definitely my favorite series

Femke I started reading the first novella, The assassin and the pirate lord. It isn't working out as I had suspect. But it still good, 30 pages to go in this story and I hope it will be epic!

Femke I finished the first story and it was pretty good. I forgot that Sarah J Maas always surprises the reader and that Celaena is a very kind person although she has killed many people. I love to start the series again and this time I'm going to finish it!

Ashleigh | 68 comments The stories get better as they go on. I love that Celaena is such a complex character. You don't know what to expect from her.

Femke The second story has a lot to do with the events of the first story, I really like that because I don't give me the feeling that it is a seperate story each time.
And Ashleigh, I totally agree with you! She is such a lovely character, she never gets boring.

Femke I didn't update my status, but I am almost finished, 50 pages left.
First story: it was okay, action packed and a very kind Celaena.
Second story: I loved Yrene, it was simple but so lovely. Celaena became even nicer.
Third story: I loved the new school kind of thing. I liked Ansel (not in the end) and I got a small crush on Ilias with his beatifull coloured eyes. Best story so far.
Fourth story: I HATE AROBYNN. It was also very interesting to read about Celaena coming back in Rifthold and experiencing the things that had happened when she was gone.

I planned to read the end during school. But within the first pages something terrible happened, I wanted to tear the book apart. But I didn't, I was in a classroom full of people.
Next all the feelings came, I wanted to cry. Bit I didn't, I was in a classroom full of people.
Then Celaena began acting very stupid, I wanted to shout and throw the book to the wall. But I didn't, I was in a classroom full of people.
All the feels guys, all the feels...

Femke I have just finished it. The rest of the story wasn't new to me, I knew it from Throne of Glass. Overall it was a good book with great novellas
