Lisa wrote: "Does question 4 only include series that we added and then either completed or started during the challenge or does it included series that we added to our TBR piles but didn't get to? 3. How many books did you read? 183
4. How many new series did you start or add? 14(?) These are series that I discovered during the challenge and then read the entire series for the challenge.
5. What was your favourite series killed? I enjoyed going back and revisiting most of the series since I like to follow an author's work. However, I really enjoyed the Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne and The Rev Clare Fergusson & Russ Van Alstyne Mysteries by Julia Spencer Fleming as start-to-finish series undertaken just for the challenge and the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones as a series I had already started. I'm looking forward to her next one coming out this month.
Well I was lazy and didn't keep track of any of it once I finished level 5. Guess I'll look up that info but I'm not even gonna try to figure out anymore of it after that. Meanwhile Susan with 44 levels ^ geesh. Over achiever.

1. How many levels did you complete? 32. How many series did you kill? 5
3. How many books did you read? 24
4. How many new series did you start or add? 4 started (I'll have to go through and see how many I added. I know I added plenty to my TBR, but I don't know how many I acquired and haven't read yet. I don't add all of my kindle books to my TBR.)
5. What was your favourite series killed? This is difficult for me. I keep changing my mind. Right this minute, I think The Lunar Chronicles, but ask me tomorrow and it may be different.
Series I completed:
Cormoran Strike - which was great, though the last book wasn't my favorite. I still enjoyed it, just not as much as the first two. The second one was my favorite so far. I plan to continue with this series.
The Lunar Chronicles - the final book was a great wrap up to the series. I really enjoyed this YA series as a twist on fairy tales.
Silo - again, I thought the last book was a great wrap-up to the series. I wasn't sure I was going to love it when I started the first book, but I ended up thinking it was really great.
Mercy Thompson - I love this series. I'm glad I got a break from it, but I'm looking forward to the next one coming out this year.
The Heroes of Olympus - great middle school series. I was not really in the mood for the last book, so I'm not sure if it was me or the book that was a bit not on target for me. If I was the target age-group, I think I would have really loved it.
Rusalka wrote: "Clarification for question 4. Did we have to acquire and start reading? As I acquired a lot which I didn't start the series in 2015."Acquired - doesn't matter whether or not you started. The intention is there.
Janice wrote: "Acquired - doesn't matter whether or not you started. The intention is there. ."No worries. Now to trawl through the "New Purchases" thread!
1. How many levels did you complete? - 152. How many series did you kill? - 23

4. How many new series did you start or add? - 6 (although I started 8 others that were on my tbr pile before 2015)

1. How many levels did you complete? = 42. How many series did you kill? = 4
3. How many books did you read? = 38
4. How many new series did you start or add? = I went through the New Purchases thread (where my book dealer made me laugh again) and then through my online book purchases (and didn't buy anything!).
I bought somewhere between 14-17.
But I started 21 series this year.
Cross over with bought, so maybe 32 started and/or newly bought? Choose your number you're after, Janice.
5. What was your favourite series killed? = Hard one. Thursday Next series has some of my favourite books in it, but is too variable as a series (needs to be left alone imho). Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is consistant though. The other two (Tomorrow When the War Began series - this is my Australian teenage years, and Alex Craft series) shouldn't be written off though as this was an insanely hard call.
# levels completed- 52. # series killed - 7
3. # books read - 45
4. # series srarted or added - 9 as far as I can figure anyway

Another possibly guilty of perjury. I'll go with the highest number.
Almeta wrote: "I should wait to give my stats until after I read everyone s "favorite series" entries! :oP"If you keep lollygagging, you will be guilty of contempt of court. Don't make me call the bailiff.

NO! No need for the bailiff .
I think there is a conspiracy by other members to implicate me in other serial kills.
Your honor, I'm taking the Fifth!
1. How many levels did you complete? 112. How many series did you kill? 17
3. How many books did you read? 81
4. How many new series did you start or add? Well, I started 27 series. How many I added... Well, if Janice really means how many I bought... I started buying ebooks on the 7th of January 2015 and have acquired about 1,200 ebooks after that. I'd say at least 2/3 of them are series books, so that would be something around 800 books. Plus some I've bought as hard copies.
5. What was your favourite series killed? That would probably be The Giver Quartet and Earth Girl.
No worries, Almeta. Add them to your list. You can still kill them off after you get off on these charges. Shhh...

Peggy - I use this html to link series. Just remove the spaces before the first 'a' and before the '/'. To find the link to the series, just go to one of the books, click on the series title, then copy the web page. Hope that helps.< a href="copy link to page here">series name or other titles link here < /a>

These are the things I want to know, and from which I may award additional badges. In order to be considered, you must report here. I'm not going hunting for stats elsewhere.
1. How many levels did you complete?
2. How many series did you kill?
3. How many books did you read?
4. How many new series did you start or add?
5. What was your favourite series killed?
Court will be in session until January 9th. Badges will be awarded sometime after that.
Note question 4 - these would be series that you either started or acquired books for after the start of the challenge. For example, the Kate Daniels series wasn't even on my radar when I started the challenge. Somewhere along the way, I started borrowing the ebooks from the library. I would consider this a new series started. New series started would not include series for which you had already acquired some of the books prior to the challenge starting.
