This is next up for me!

Shannon (shannonfrost) | 176 comments It is So Good! A lot of people might not want to read it because it is 457 pages, but it is worth it. I'm hoping the movie will release close to me because my boyfriend and I both want to see it. Once I get my reading stack down, I'm going to read the second book.

Oh pah, number of pages don't scare me, I've read the Outlander series and Game of Thrones series! ;) I'm interested in seeing the movie and I try to read any book that a movie adaptation is based on. I did not know it was about an alien invasion though! lol!

message 9: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (shannonfrost) | 176 comments Oh yes. The kicker with this particular alien invasion is they can look like humans and you never even know they are aliens!

How was Life As We Knew It? It's been in my TBR for awhile.

Shannon (shannonfrost) | 176 comments Oh..so so good! It makes you think of that actually happening and how truly unprepared most people are. Made me want to be a hoarder or something! But it holds you the whole book. The end got me a little teary-eyed. So ready for the next book.

message 24: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (shannonfrost) | 176 comments Agreed. My eyes are always too big for my lending period. I go a bit check-out happy sometimes...but there is so much good stuff to explore. The audio books are what get my through my walking every morning.

I totally understand what you are saying Shannon. I have a hard time even reading a book twice because it means one less new book I will be able to read in my lifetime...hahah

How was The Infinite Sea? I'm next in line for it at the library. I'm interested to see where it goes.

To me, not as good. I was just so confused during most parts of it. It mean it was a good book, but it seemed like other characters that were not so important took on another role. Don't get me wrong, it was a good book...but not as good as the first one. I guess we will have to wait to see how they end it when the book comes out in May.

I don't think so either now. I am cruising and we are only 2 months in.
