Jess (jessiquie) | 35 comments Hey guys,
This is my third year as part of this challenge and I'm sticking with the same challenge I did in 2015 this year, which is to read at least 50 books by Australian Women Writers and review at least 40 of them.

I found out in 2015 that I find it quite easy to read Australian Women Writers, but last year life got in the way of reviews, so I'm hoping to beat last years attempt :)

I think it'll be a slow start this year thanks to my back injury which means I can't stay in once place for more than 1/2hr but I'm not going to let that stop me :)

So far in 2016 I've read:
1. Grass is Greener by Loretta Hill (review coming shortly)

Blog review: http://wp.me/p3yY1u-Ph
On reflection I love this book so much more than I originally thought I did. Perhaps my second favorite book of the year so far :)

8. Escaping Mr Right by Avril Tremayne,
Review goes live tomorrow: http://wp.me/p3yY1u-PI

9.The Things I Didn't Say by Kylie Fornasier. Despite buying this at the #YASquad2016 event almost two months prior to it's official release, I asked the publisher and they'd prefer me to hold back this review until closer to the publication date of 2nd May. So this review goes live on 26th April, almost a week prior.

Despite the link, you won't be able to access it until then, but if I don't list it here now, I'll never remember to list it here :)

Jess (jessiquie) | 35 comments 10. Don't think about Purple Elephants by Susan Whelan by Susan Whelan 5/5 stars.
I brought this book at the Newcastle Writers Festival today, and started writing a review for it shortly after finishing it only to realise it was officially released a year ago today, so what better time to review it then today!

Hi Jess! I finally found this notification - I was there yesterday, and went to the Masculinity panel and then the YA one at 2, followed by the Novascapes 2 launch at 3pm, as I have a short story in it.

Wish I'd managed to get through my emails earlier - we might have been able to catch up!

I was in both the YA ones, so we were in the same room at least at one time! I heard the masculinity one was fantastic!
