"Oh nice joke" She replied not believing a word of what he said about studying. She sat down beside him at one of the tables.

"I'm not surprised" Cane said and smiled when he kissed her. She leaned forward in front of him to look at the menu

"Oh they have strawberry cake here!" Cane exclaimed. "Okay I know what I'm getting too." When the waiter came, she gave her order of cake and coffee. Then she waited for Alex to do the same.

"Well yeah. I have been waiting so long for this season. And finalyyy" Cane smiled then looked at him, "Alex...what are your thoughts on me cutting my hair a bit? I have been thinking for a while that change would be nice..."

"I'm talking about my hair dummy!" She laughed loudly, ruffling his hair "Don't worry I like your hair too"

"Till my forearms I think...not to short..not too long either" She replied contemplating what to do.

"Yeah well that's good you think so because I was gonna do it anyway." She smiled "Come on let's eat now" And she dug into her strawberry cake.

"Umm..Alex? " Cane asked tentatively

"Do wanna...come over to my home..After this?" She asks a bit hesitant and embarrassed.

"I guess that is why I'm asking" She pouted and looked the other way, a slight blush colouring her cheeks "Also..you could say I have some things I need you to know...about me"

"I hope you won't be too surprised" Cane murmured more to herself than to Alexander. She was quite apprehensive of what he would think.

Cane finished her food and said, "Come on, let's go. It will be late and you won't be allowed to come then...also I want to show you some of my mathematics research"

"Actually yes I think we should have the lesson first or the school buildings will close" Cane said "After that we'll go to my place?"
