Pitch of voice: In the medium range, not low and manly but not high and squeaky. His singing voice is nice and floats 'like a bird' the Amity say.
Other: He has freckles dotted all over his cheeks. He also has brown lowlights in the winter. His smile is also very shy and very secretive.
Personality: Mason will do anything in his power to protect the people he loves and all the initiates each year. He is fun and bubbly once you really get to know him and he will always cheer you up. You can get on his bad side however. He can be feisty and ever-so-snappy which makes it really hard for him to be Amity. Mason can be flirty at times when he doesn't even notice it. He is an extreme softie and can be gullible at times. The only thing he really hates though is the fact that at times he can really hurt peoples feelings without even knowing why.
History: When Mason was a young child, he used to be in Dauntless. One day, he got in a fight with a kid at school and was told that he didn't deserve to be in his faction. He went home and cried, not because he was damaged by the words, because he knew he didn't belong there. He tried his very hardest to be as brave as he could but deep down under he was just a scared little boy. He just lived in a blur of a childhood until he was 16. When he took the aptitude test, he got Abnegation but at the choosing ceremony he chose Amity. He felt as if he belonged and deserved to be there. Every day, he remembers the thrill of Dauntless and how much he misses it, but how much he was scarred by it.

Emily has always been one to disapprove Mason's choices. She would always encourage him to pick Dauntless and be like them, but since she was always so mean to him, he never really wanted to pick Dauntless.

Elliot has always been perky and fun to be with. Sometimes, when Emily scolded Mason, he would get some cake to share with him and tell him he could pick whatever he wanted and he would always love Mason no matter what. He died from slipping off the train handle.
