Can anybody suggest how one can obtain a copy of this novella in a format that can be printed and/or read on a PC in .pdf format or similar (you know: for the luddites without e-readers)?

As far as I know this has only been released as a Kindle Single which means that you are kind of stuck in terms of reading formats if you want to comply with Amazon terms of use.

You can download the Kindle for PC reading app which is no use for printing but is a decent way of reading ebooks on your PC, phone etc.

There are ways around this which I am sure you could google but they would involved hacking the DRM and then converting to PDF. As it is pretty easy to read on the PC the Kindle App is a decent option for you.

I read it for nook. Just noting it's not just available for Kindle. But yeah, I don't think it's getting print published.

It's also available as an audible audio book, I'd recommend it, think the narration works really well.
