Here's something else. I feel that the song Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri really kind of captures the relationship between Kaz and Inej. It honestly feels like Inej speaking, especially after their moment on the Ferolind near the end. It captures the complexity of their relationship and really has the emotion. The chorus also does a pretty good job of describing Kaz, but it also shows that Inej does still love him despite all those things. I just find it really moving.
I think one of the best songs for Kaz and Inej actually comes from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo soundtrack, and it's only played at the very end if you watch through all the credits. The song is "Is Your Love Strong Enough" by How to Destroy Angels.
Listening to it with Kaz + Inej in mind will bring tears.

It really is a good song for them.
I didn't even know The Girl with the Dagon Tattoo was a movie. I'll have to listen to that song later.

Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love works pretty well for Matthias and Nina. Especially with Nina's Heartrender angle. Just think…
Closed off from love, I didn't need the pain
Once or twice was enough, but it was all in vain
Time starts to pass, before you know it, you're frozen
But something happened, for the very first time with you
My heart melts into the ground, found something true
And everyone's looking round, thinking I'm going crazy
But I don't care what they say
I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away, but they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vein, that I keep on closing
You cut me open and I
Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding, I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding, keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open
Ah, the beautiful ballad of the red-haired heartrender!
Also, Evanescence “Lithium” from their 2006 album "The Open Door"It really fits Nina’s battle with jurda parem and her love for Matthias.
Amy Lee has a lovely Grisha aesthetic herself and packs the drama in that angelic voice of hers.

Hmm, just my opinion, but I don't really agree with those two songs. (Lithium and Is you love strong enough). Is Your Love Strong enough was ok, but it didn't have many lyrics. Not deep enough I don't think.

Amber wrote: "I love Evanescence!!! One of my favourite bands! What is your preferred genre of music Luke?"I really do like everything, (and I mean everything) but rock and metal floats my boat. I've been playing guitar for 14+ years (it's my other day job) and I'm working on a metal album right now.
So glad you love Evanescence! Amy Lee is an inspiration to me, I feel I can write thousands of stories with her in my ears.
I love Evanescence too! They are awesome! I also really love Within Temptation, they seem quite similar to Evanescence.
That's awesome Luke! Rock is my kind of music too, but I listen to many different kinds of music. I like to keep an open mind when people recommend songs to me, no matter the genre. The only type of music that I really can't stand is country. I used to love country when I was little but I feel like modern country mostly has shallow lyrics. It's always about a blue eyed blonde haired girl dancing on the tailgate. Seriously! They always have blue eyes and blonde hair! What's wrong with brunettes? :)
I like the song the Darkest Part by Red for Kaz and Inej, and I like Wicked Games by Raign for how Matthias feels about Nina. :)

Rock on, Amber :D) In fact, my band mate, who is a lovely blonde-haired blue-eyed woman herself, (whom I dedicated The Muiread to) HATES country, we wrote a hilarious song to make fun of the genre, but it ended up being quite catchy. Sad thing was, it happened twice! But she can't stand modern country.
And trust me. There's nothing wrong with brunettes or redheads for that matter. They're awesome! :D

I don't have many, but I am fond of the song Sinister Kid by the Black Keys, I think it does a good job of representing and summing up Kaz.
Also maybe the song Born Like This by Three Days Grace, kind of represents the whole crew and the atmosphere of the story.
What other songs can you think of?
