wow. Love the list. I loved The Goldfinch and Exodus. The back story of Exodus is really awesome. Have you read QB VII? Both are connected as Uris was charged with libel somewhere in there. I've heard Sara Donati is awesome...but I've never gotten around to reading her. People compare her to Diana Gabaldon. Let me know what you think. I love the books we are reading together!

I listened to QB VII last year. I chose Exodus for this year because I really liked that one last year!

I'm doing better at reading this year! Last year it was March before I read 4 books, and this year, I've already read 4! (Not very long ones, but...) I think it's because we started last year with A Suitable Boy. I've finished one of my challenge books and am working on 2 of them right now.

I've got two down and I'm working on quite a few right now. :) Hoping for a great reading year! I'm so debating which book to take with me next weekend!!!!

I think I'm bringing my Nook...

If I get a chance to re-load mine, I will. Otherwise I'll probably bring my big bad book, Sacred Games. :)

I don't think I'm going to get my list finished this year. I started off strong, but I don't think I'll get 7 more books read this year.

I did get my 35 book challenge...

I have ONE MORE TO READ! I've pretty much stuck to my list for the year. I'm so busy it's hard to find time to read but I'm determined.

You've GOT this! I need to think about 2017...

I'm thinking about maybe going back to an alphabet challenge of some sort rather than the 12+ challenge since I can't seem to finish one. Maybe both?

That's not a bad idea - I just hate the pressure of that one. :) HAHA! I'll probably do a 12+ challenge again. I've learned to pick books that I really (REALLY) want to read. That helps immensely. Or don't pick beforehand, maybe do a 25 in a year or something?

I do REALLY want to read all of these books. I just forget to look at this list when I'm picking my next book. I don't know... I'll probably end up doing both!

It also doesn't help that I haven't READ many books this year. My list usually has more paper books than e-books on it, but I've listened to a lot more books this year than I've actually read.

Likewise! I'm going to be reading Hamilton starting in January though, fyi. Want to read it together?

We'll go slow! It's a very good book, but it is not going to be a quick book. I look at it, but maybe a chapter a week? It will take a long time, but that should be basically manageable?
