A beautiful quote from a book that I had just finished not too long ago. All the Bright Places by: Jennifer Niven
“The thing I realize is, that it's not what you take, it's what you leave.”
“The thing I realize is, that it's not what you take, it's what you leave.”
My favorite quote is: "Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all those who live without love". And I could keep mentioning J.K. Rowling quotes but I won't 'cause they are too many.
Another one I love: "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, said Jojen. The man who never reads lives only one".
And a sassy one I just can't get over: "Here's a lesson for you Weapons Master,' she said, stalking past him. "Give me real men to fight. Then maybe I'll bother trying".
“For five years it had been his absolute truth. Jem and Will. Will and Jem. Will Herondale lives, therefore Jem Carstairs lives also.” -Clockwork Princess.
"Isn’t that what stories do, make real things fake, and fake things real?”Marie Rutkoski- The Winner’s Curse
"I've seen so many young men over the years who think they're running at other young men. They are not. They're running at me,"- Death, The Book Thief.
"The boy never cried again, and he never forgot what he'd learned: that to love is to destroy, and that to be loved is to be the one destroyed." - City of Bones
Viry wrote: ""The boy never cried again, and he never forgot what he'd learned: that to love is to destroy, and that to be loved is to be the one destroyed." - City of Bones"That's another good one! "The boy never cried again" well neither did Sebastain but no one likes to talk about him lol.
I have a notebook where I write down all the quotes I like from every single book I read, I have managed to gather a bunch. Lately, it has become a habit of mine to make the quotes into images and share them on social media, this is one of them.

And you can't really take anything, except how many hearts you have touched...:-)
Okay I just finished The Shock of the Fall and it was AMAZING. Some awesome quotes: “Inside my head is a jigsaw made of trillions and trillions and trillions of atoms. It might take a while.”
“there are different kinds of madness. Some madness doesn’t act mad to begin with, sometimes it will knock politely at the door, and when you let it in, it’ll simply sit in the corner without a fuss – and grow.”
