Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Oh boy. This again! It's already 5 days into the year and I've been more bad than good! I haven't finished a book, I have purchased MORE books (though I did donate more than a few, so I guess I evened things out a teensy bit), and I haven't even thought about what I want to do this year with this whole "reading thing".

So here's my thread where I shall talk about those things. Stay tuned.

You just read It.

LOL - I know right?! I dunno if IT would qualify for this one, as much as I love it... I think probably HP would fit the bill though.

message 12: by Chris , cookie guilt (new)

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2450 comments I was thinking HP too. That "guaranteed" is almost required to be a reread, since you don't know if you will like something before reading it.

message 13: by HomeInMyShoes (new)

HomeInMyShoes Favourite author maybe.

I'm out on 16, 19, 26. But that's me.

There are some really good books in the OBC, but they get a bad rap because of her name.

Now THAT's a reading challenge.

message 16: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Updated. (Also bumping this so it will show on my homepage. :P)

MrsJoseph *grouchy* (mrsjoseph) | 5312 comments Looking good, Becks. Now I need to get my ass in gear, lol.

message 18: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Bump. Updated some stuff.

message 19: by HomeInMyShoes (new)

HomeInMyShoes I just looked through this again and this might be the craziest amount of stuff I've seen for one year worth of challenges.

message 20: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Crazy is my middle name! :P

message 21: by Dawn, Dawnerys, Mother of Modding (new)

Dawn (breakofdawn) | 860 comments It's not a challenge unless it's challenging! I wish I were this motivated. I'm semi-motivated to read... But to track what I'm reading across pre-determined goals? Pfft. I'm lazy.

message 22: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) I forget all the time and then have to come back and update a bunch.

And then there are the books I'm reading that don't really count because they aren't books I own, they don't really fit exactly into a genre I need to fill, and/or they don't fit a PopSugar task.

*sigh*

Plus I'm 13 books behind on my 2016 challenge already. Awesome.

message 23: by HomeInMyShoes (new)

HomeInMyShoes True, it isn't a challenge unless it is challenging. I may have to re-evaluate my so-called challenges.

^this

I just read and then later go "my challenges!"

message 25: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) LOL Pretty much!

message 26: by Dawn, Dawnerys, Mother of Modding (new)

Dawn (breakofdawn) | 860 comments I sometimes miss challenges as well, like the group ones we used to do in B&B. But then I'm also like.... That was a lot of work. And I wanna read what I wanna read when I wanna read it!
