quietprofanity | 72 comments I read Hicksville and sadly ended up really, really disliking it. I appreciate what he was trying to do as a celebration of the comics industry, but the story was just so bad and he's not that good at imitating other comic styles. Also, I'd hoped since it took place in New Zealand I could use it for the "slice of life in another country" challenge, but alas. I'll have to buy Aya, I guess.

This year, my pledge is to "close" as many books that I opened last year as possible. So it goes onto this year's challenge list!
