Heya! Okay so first off I think mapping out the plot is what we need to do. I can do pictures and the name of the group later.


So I was kinda playing with the idea of the video game The Last of us mixed with Dead Rising 3 (or all of them, I didn't play the first two)

So basically civilization is at the breaking point. Survival vs. Extinction. There are pockets of guarded civilizations around the world. Though most pockets are treated like prison for the humans that are still alive are banned from leaving the city, and there are humongous walls 'protecting' them. Where other pockets rely solely on trade.

I haven't thought about how the outbreak exactly started, but once the U.S. government had an idea of how to control the outbreak, they used it as a weapon against our enemy nations. But it got out of hand and soon, more than half the planet was dead. Or rather undead.


I do know that I want their to be a mutations of the species of Zombie. And that when it comes to have weapons and stuff like that, there is a system where a die is rolled (or something like that) and the members have a harder time of obtaining weapons and such.

Maybe the outbreak started with someone experimenting with how to extend life/make immortal?
There's a jellyfish that's immortal. If it's dying it basically reverse ages and becomes immature again, then ages, then reverse ages, etc. So maybe the scientists combined some of these genes into humans, but it failed so it's only when they're dead? That could create a possibility of explaining the different mutations, they're in different stages.

So I totally like the idea. Though when it comes to explaining the plot, I have no words. When the groups starts up could your write that part? XP I'm not a good student when it comes to science-y type stuff.

Do you have any idea as to what kind of mutations we should have? I can name of about four, but their traditionally based mutations. (Well when it comes to zombies anyways.)

I'm good at science-y stuff, but I suck at writing descriptions :P It's a struggle

I'm not sure what they look like, but maybe the longer they've been a zombie the faster they are? Like they die completely so things start to rot and decompose before they're back. So they progressively get faster and stronger the longer they've been a zombie, since with the reverse thing the muscles are getting younger?

That's all right! You don't have to write the rest of the plot just that part so I don't confuse everyone with my ramblings! :)

I like that idea! Maybe that's for the general zombie population, but a select few of zombies are mutated differently? Since in all experiments theres always that odd result that is different from the rest.

I can do that :)

Of course there's a few outliers :P That's the fun.

Okay, so since the government eventually gets their hands on the 'immortals' perhaps the group of scientists where a private funding group? No one heard of them because they left no trace? That is until the government exposed them of course.
