Chapter 2 - Izabel's motives makes me nervous. Going to Hamburg's mansion seems reckless. Her expertise as an assassin isn't as good as Victor. Now, I'm curious. No clue how will she manage that. All I want is Victor to appear.
That scene with Hamburg tho, either Sarai is a badass or i'm just a scaredy cat. I literally had to take short breaks to take a deep breath every few minutes because i'm so SCARED for her! But Victor, he never fails to impress and yknw, be that super sexy assassin he is <3
Ugh. I was so scared for Sarai in the Hamburg scene. But Victor's entrance into the book is just perfect. #teamvictor forever
I found myself wanting to skip ahead until I saw Victor's name appear on the page. Sarai is being naive thinking she can accomplish her task with out training or with out Victor's help. Which makes me wonder if she wants to die or wants to do this to maybe bring Victor to her (??). Though I am not surprised to find her in this circumstance...since in KILLING SARAI I felt there was def a foreshadowing that lead me to think this was certainly not over, she would be back. I do like how Sarai's motivation is to kill evil men...A killer with a cause instead of like Victor, an assassin for hire motivated by $$. Though I hope she learns how to leave her emotion (hate, vengeance) behind otherwise she is destined for her own demise.
