Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) Just finished.
It was superb. though it wasn't intense as the previous book. the plot twists are crazy and more violent. The charwcter development is wonderful. I like the ending. not the typical ones I usually see on NA books.

Alreem | 4 comments I love this books so far, Sarai is a 100% better in this book :) and Victor is not a robot anymore thank God, how the book developed was really amazing. I'm happy I decided to continue reading this series :) can't wait for the next book

Delia (deliasophie) I loved this book so much! I don't have anything bad to say about it. This series is definitely becoming one of my favorites and i can't wait to continue on.

Florence | 14 comments So, I just finished the book. It was insane, in the best way possible. I am so in love with Victor and Izabel! I am just not totally sold on the whole initiation thing. I understand for the most part why it had to be done, but I am still just wrapping my head around it. I am soooo excited to get Fredrik's story in the next book!!!!

Geena (geehyvn) I'll have to agree that it wasnt as intense as the first book but it didnt take away my enjoyment! I loved the character developments, especially in Victor. I thought Sarai was a bit too emotional sometimes and over the top a bit compared to the others but considering she's a girl, i get the "mood swings" xP and i would SO MUCH LOVE to read about fredrik. He intrigues me ;) overall, i'm very happy that i decided to read this series!!

Julia | 6 comments I too look forward to learning more about Fredrik!

Sarai is surprisingly a bit annoying to me! I'm finding her to be naive and childish. Which, writing that I remember hearing somewhere that when a person is traumatized at a young age they can become emotionally stunted and live life emotionally stuck in the age they were traumatized. And, if that is true then Sarai's character makes more sense to me. But, at times I was rolling my eyes at her.

Also, the ending satisfied my interest in the story line. If I wasn't in this read-a-long I would likely end here. However, because I am committed to the read-a-long I will continue. And, I am interested to find out if I wish I had stopped with book 2 or if I get pulled back in and am grateful that I continued. I bring that up just because there have been other series I stopped and I've always wondered what I missed out on.

Kind of what all of you have said about Sarai/Izabel's character, I definitely get. The first time I read this I was so frustrated with her because she's always jumping the gun, especially how she thought she could take Hamburg all by herself in the beginning. But as much as sometimes she annoyed me, I think I would have been WAY disappointed in her character if she was a natural at not only killing, but the finesse details of carrying out a job. I like that she makes these mistakes because it showed me that she's not perfect and still learning. It would have been unbelievable for me if she was just as good as Victor was, ya feel me?

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) I agree with you. The stunt she did is pretty reckless. With her trainings, she gets better on doing the job and is determined to learn more.
