A Christmas Memory, One Christmas, & The Thanksgiving Visitor

I have read this one twice as I love it so much!

Number 2 - Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible Things This book started out great but then I became worried about Jenny Lawson after reading about her gallbladder which went into gangrene. I suspect that she has MCS like I do. I enjoyed her first book more than this one.

Number 3 - This Glittering World This one is a favorite of mine so I have read it twice too! I did some new questions for it.

I liked Furiously Happy, but I also liked Let's Pretend This Never Happened a lot more. Though I read that one before I started following her online... maybe now I'm just good with small doses.

Same for me. Furiously Happy upset me some. I am now worried about her. I thought Let's Pretend this Never Happened was much better but at times I did feel embarrassed as I read it!

Winter Solstice - Number 4

Number 5 - A Town Like Alice I finally read it after to planning to for ages.

A Town Like Alice has been of my list of things to read for a while, too. Also, On the Beach. So many books, so little time...

Yes, we read On the Beach years ago but prefer Lucifer's Hammer as its more exciting. You will be glad when to you get to A Town Like Alice and it means a town like Alice Springs which I did not realize until I read it.

Shakespeare's Secret - number 7
This was a very good quick read with some strange ideas about Shakespeare. I gave it 5 stars.

Brain Maker: The Power of Gut Microbes to Heal and Protect Your Brain–for Life Very interesting book with some ideas which were also presented by Deepak Chopra but I was able to handle them better in this book. If you have health problems be sure to read this one.

In This Together: My Story Ann Romney Ann writes about her ms with some good pointers but it would help her to read the above book Brain Maker. She has relapsing/remitting and is in the remission part which most are. I like her ideas about reflexology so have to try that. I gave her book 4 stars as at the end of it I got annoyed.

My book club picked either this one or her other one...I'm not sure I want to really read it because I know she deals with depression and such but majority rules

Go with the first one if you can as its few laughs but at times embarrassing. The second one is more depressing. I felt very worried about her.

Number 10 is Make Me I can't recommend this one to anyone but my husband did read it immediately and he says it 3 stars but the ending was ridiculous. He pointed out to me all the ways that it was impossible which I had not realized.

Oh, you wouldn't believe how many I have read in the past few days! I need to list them. My husband had surgery today and I have a stomach virus so was in bed one day reading all day long and read Eleven on Top in one day! I have lost count again. I am currently reading The Nonesuch which is good.

Its very hard to put down so be prepared to read nonstop! It gets better and better. Some things at first are very off putting but curiosity will get the better of you!

Alice, i hope hubby is okay. Poor you too, you guys are a fine pair! What you said to Elyse about Me before you was spot on! I totally agree.

I just called him again in his hospital room and he is better as the bleeding stopped. So once again I can breathe a sigh of relief! I hope the snow stops. Only about an inch so far. I hate to drive but especially in snow and ice. We are getting old and things start to go!

Beat Your A-Fib: The Essential Guide to Finding Your Cure - 6 stars as its got excellent info

and number 15 - A Patient's Guide to Heart Rhythm Problems - 3 stars

number 16 - Tricky Twenty-Two - so funny as usual

Road to Tara: The Life of Margaret Mitchell

If you like Gone with the Wind you will love this too.

number 18 - too sad and horrifying! what a brave little girl

The Nonesuch - Just about finished with this one which is very good if you enjoy Georgette Heyer

Pretty Girls Maybe this is 20 and its way too shocking so don't read it. Its possibly the most gory and horrifying thing I have ever read and I have read Dracula and The Highway. It may give you nightmares!

The Tulip I love tulips and this is so fascinating about their history.

Number 31 - a cute Twilight book I picked up in Forks which is so funny!

Missoula: Rape and the Justice System in a College Town My sister advised me to read this so I got it in Missoula. Its quite a shocker.

Pancho and Black Jack Number 33?
It took me about a month to read this one but I gave it 5 stars. My husband said it really follows the history.

All his books are excellent and very hard to put down! I just finished another very hard to put down book and in fact I started it late yesterday and finished it this afternoon. Off The Grid by C.J. Box

Have you read Three Weeks To Say Goodbye by Box? It is a really good book and a stand alone. Interesting story...

Off The Grid Number 44?

Too exciting! (some very scary ideas here)

No, we haven't read Three Weeks to Say Goodbye yet and I don't think we will read it. Is it about losing a child? (giving a baby up?)

Number 45 - Girl in the Woods: A Memoir
She was very annoying at times but I still enjoyed reading about the PCT. Reading this caused me to have to buy and read

46 - Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail again. I enjoyed it even more the second time.

Number 47 - Wallbanger (very naughty but funny)

Number 48 - Prom you can read this very fast! and

Number 49 - The Shepherd is also a very fast read and can be read in 30 to 45 minutes! I cried most of the time I was reading it. I read it years ago but had forgotten it. (six stars IMO) As someone wrote about this book an excellent story can be written without going on and on for 700 pages or so.

Rethinking Thin: The New Science of Weight Loss--And the Myths and Realities of Dieting

Number 50? So I am half way. I got another book by Gina Kolata as I enjoyed Rethinking Thin so much. In my old age I love to read diet books! This one says as you age you will live longer if you are a little overweight! It helps the bones and muscles!

The Day We Met Fabulous so far! I am puzzled as it seems to have two titles or there are two books very similar (?).
Does anyone know what is going on with this?
