The principal of Opportunity, Alabama's high school finishes her speech, welcoming the entire student body to a new semester and encouraging them to excel and achieve.

10:02 a.m.
The students get up to leave the auditorium for their next class.

The auditorium doors won't open.

Someone starts shooting.

Told over the span of 54 harrowing minutes from four different perspectives, terror reigns as one student's calculated revenge turns into the ultimate game of survival.

i'm on chapter 3...so far it's interesting to know more about the characters!

I love the writing style. And the Twitter conversations are neat.

And the different perspectives of the shooting. Those in the hallway and those outside running had in a different aspect of a school shooting. (hide spoiler)]

Sad about Matt and the other 38 killed and poor Autumn will most likely not dance again.

What was strange was how it lasted for one whole class period. It was quick but not quick. And even slower for those inside and outside.

A interesting book that is similar to things happening in today's society. (hide spoiler)]

Up to chapter 6 (view spoiler)[ I'm finding it a bit hard to keep track of everyone, and how they're all connected. I mean, I guess it's really good to see so many different points of view, but so far I'm thinking less could have been better (hide spoiler)]

Up to chapter 10 (view spoiler)[ It's so interesting how differently people respond to these sorts of things. Like how Claire has jumped into action, but Sylv is just terrified. Not that I'm criticising, I can't even imagine what I'd do in that situation (hide spoiler)]

Up to chapter 16 (view spoiler)[ I guess what really messes me up about books like this is that it's fiction, but it so easily could be true. And every time Ty shoots without a second thought, it makes me feel sick (hide spoiler)]

Up to chapter 20 (view spoiler)[ The way this is written makes it feel so much longer than it actually has been. I was starting to get a bit mad at the police for taking so long, but it hasn't even been an hour. And I think I really love that writing style! (hide spoiler)]

Autumn is so brave I have not words to describe what she is doing and more with his brother I really hope at all of them get the hell out soon. I was just thinking... It's kinda the entire plot about that and have four differents POV. Hope you like it and sorry I can't tell you more but it's because I can spoiled you

(view spoiler)[ I have to say that this book was good, the plot is so hard and no everyone will like this book because of it. I was really looking forward to see the POV of Tyler I really want to know what really was going on, I can't believe that Tómas and Matt are really dead they both were so freaking brave. And when Tómas sacrifices for his sister I was really looking forward to see him somehow alive also with Matt, he was such a cute person.

I liked this book and I liked all the characters but I was no really surprise that Tyler kill himself by the end it was obvious and more when Autumn warn him. (hide spoiler)]

Sorry Noor, wish we could help you more but that's basically the whole plot, it's hard to explain what the blurb doesn't tell you :)

To chapter 6 (view spoiler)[ I was really keen on the different perspectives, but now I don't like it as much because it's hard to keep up with who is who. The shooter is already on campus and it's Autumn's sister! I don't get why he is so upset with Sylv. Is she turning Autumn into a bad kid? How? I read that Jonah died, but I don't remember them talking about a Jonah. Is he just a boy caught in the crossfire? (hide spoiler)]

to chapter 12 (view spoiler)[ wow tyler has turned unpredictable by just shooting any random person... He has killed so many people and I want to know the full story behind him and Sylv. How does someone turn to killing others? I hope he doesn't do anything to Autumn. (hide spoiler)]

to chapter 20 (view spoiler)[ I can't believe Tyler did that... He raped Sylv! Now Tyler is on the run searching for people inside the school while Autumn, Matt, and other students are still in the auditorium with the people Tyler murdered. This story is getting intense and I hope the ending isn't awful... I just can't believe Tyler did that. (hide spoiler)]

finished (view spoiler)[ The ending of this book ruined me. I cried for the last 20 pages. Tomas is dead, Matt gone, Ty killed himself, and Autumn is no longer going to dance again. Ty took away her passion and future because no one was there for him when he needed them to be. It still doesn't give him any reason to rape Sylv because now she's not going to be the same. I liked this book, but the different perspectives confused me and I wish they would have had a perspective for Tyler. The twitter/facebook posts didn't really serve a purpose. This is an eye opener and I hate how frequent school shootings are now.. (hide spoiler)]

chapter 15 (view spoiler)[WOW this book is intense. Amazing how Autumn is able to dance in front of her brother with a gun. Just a thought that even if her brother ends her life at least she will be doing something she loves. Hopeful that would bring comfort (hide spoiler)]
