Alex sat at his dining table, a martini at hand. He had recently got his apartment updated to suit the new trends. He liked it enough, nothing special to it that he hadn't seen before. He was hoping Leora would show up soon so he could get her opinion on the matter. Not just that though. he hadn't spoken to the fallen Angel for ages and was wanting to catch up with her.
Leora stood outside Alex's door and bit her lip. Seeing his door in his fancy apartment, she realised...she was completely underdressed. Perhaps she should have worn something nicer. However, when she'd gotten his message, she hadn't really thought about it further than that she hadn't seen him for a while. She sighed, looked down at her tight black jeans, high heels and black long sleeve shirt, and decided she could at least make her hair look nice. She pulled it out of its bun and ran her fingers through it before ringing the doorbell.
Alex looked up at the door and smiled to himself, knowing who it was. He walked over to the door and walked over to it, martini still in hand. He looked down at himself before he opened the door and smoothed out his crisp trousers. He opened the door to see Leora and cracked up laughing. "You look like a rag doll, darling."
"Shut up," said Leora pushing passed him. "It's not my fault you decided to message me at such a random moment, geez." She looked around, yep, it was a nice place, as expected. And like she'd thought...she was completely underdressed. But then to put on a dress just so she felt perfectly dressed, well, that was totally not her style. "At least," she pointed to her awesome heels, "I wore these." She missed her boots, but she wanted to show off her heels.
"mmm, yummy, I'm sure all the boys are chasing you down the street." He said and studied them at closer view. One of a kind too. He thought in shock. This was completely unlike Leora to dress in something fashionable. "Havana didn't give them to you did she?" He said and walked over to his mini bar to get a glass for Leora.
Leora grinned, "Yup, she sure did, why else would I wear such impractical shoes?" She took a seat at the bar, and examined him. It was had to believe that this was same little boy she and Havana had saved all those years ago. It was hard to believe that he had grown up to look like he did now. So very hard to believe. "So what are you going to offer me?" She asked looked at all the liquor in his bar.
"Oh please Leora, you make it sound like I'm looking to get you drunk. Remember what happened last time?" He laughed to himself at the memory "Ok, maybe I am trying to get you drunk. Never mind that. I supposed your options are sparkling champagne or cold, hard Whisky. I think I know what you're are going to chose though." He said and looked at her in expectation.
"Ha ha very funny," said Leora, refusing to remember what happened last time. Turns out, she could not hold her liquor at all. She stared between the two options. Yeah, it was an obvious answer, seeing as champagne was totally not her thing. "If you know then pour it," she said smiling.
He poured sparkling champagne for her just to piss her off and grabbed another glass to pour whisky for himself. He took a sip and cringed. "I never was particularly a large fan of whisky," He took another sip. "But of course, whatever gets the blood going." He cracked up laughing at her expression.
Leora just glared at him. That was totally mean of him! "Alexander. Give. Me. The. Damn. Whiskey. Or Else...you'll regret it." She said it pretty damn seriously because no one messed with the alcohol she drank, and Alex knew it, but still liked to mess with her. He was damn lucky he was Havana's godson, otherwise...he'd be dead meat.
"Oh dear, I'm so frightened. Are you going to use your magic powers on me because Leora, my beautiful friend, I also happen to have magic powers." Clicked his figures and a flame shot into the air. Still he passed her the whisky, afraid she might threaten physical violence. That might not end so well with him.
Leora took the whiskey, and passed over the champagne. Without looking at him, she took a big swig and sighed. "You made the right choice Alex, imagine the consequences of getting into a punch on with moi. I'd beat your ass down the strip and then...probably suffer through a scolding from Havana."
"Ha! and she'd beat your ass even more." He smiled and sighed. "I worry about her lately." He took a sip of the champagne "I keep telling her, she has to kill Lucifer. She won't do it though. She refuses to be queen of Hell. SO what does she do instead? She becomes all buddy buddy with him and drinks a whole bottle of liquor to shove down her self pity for it." HE set down his glass and shook his head in annoyance. "I love her but I swear she doesn't know what's good for her and what isn't."
Yeah, Havana was pretty terrifying, but they were old buds now, so Leora pretty much took whatever beating Havana gave her because well...Leora was somewhat indestructive and took pain well. If it was someone else though, she wouldn't even let them lay a hand on her.
Leora sighed. "Well, I understand why she wouldn't. Lucifer is her twin...and not only that, she's the Angel of Love, can you imagine a Queen like her on the throne of Hell?"
((Lol, it's so weird reading the Queen of Hell here because one of my charries in my other group is the Queen of Hell hahaha ))

((That's so funny. I understand why it would be odd. The thing about Havana and Alexander is that I've had these two, Sapphire included in my head for a couple of years, though with Sapphire she's relatively more recent. I'm RPing with her in Angels and Demons. That's probably why you though she was for this group. I might make a profile for her in this group, though I'm not sure.))
"It's not fair though. Everything he puts her through and she just stands there and makes a big joke out of it as if nothing hurts her. How can it not hurt her? like for example, the curse about not being able to fall in love just because she's the angel of love." Alex was ranting now and didn't care. This was one of the things he never understood about the whole heaven and hell squabble.

((Lol, nah, I wasn't confused, I know Sapphire is in Angels & Demons, and it feels good to make and rp a character you've had for ages, doesn't it? :P Though...I've pretty much had to make mine all from scratch haha, too many charries now! ))
"It's because it's Lucifer. More than anything, it's because it's him." Leora sighed and took a sip of her whiskey. She didn't know what she could say. She understood this age old war better than Alex did because she'd lived through it for years. Finally, finally, she got herself kicked out of heaven (not particularly by choice, but to somewhat a welcoming degree) and life was just somewhat simpler.
((I can't decide if by this moment Leora has already found her brother or not))

((I think it would be a good Idea if she had, I mean, if Havana found Lucifer than at this point in time , I think maybe she should have. But it's your charrie so it's up to you :) ))
Alex shook his head in annoyance and let it go for then, so...what do you think of the place. I designed it myself. though I had Adrian and a few other guys build it fix things up for me." He smiled, yes, Adrian. Alex certainly liked Adrian fixing his place.

((lol, I made a mistake and I accidentally posted before I responded to the RP so I had to edit it. just so you know why Alex's response wasn't there a minuet ago.))
((Oh right, lollll!!! Haha I've done that before XD ))
For a moment, Leora fell into a slight melancholy as she remembered what happened to her own brother. Because of certain reasons, they'd reconciliated, eventually, but then, just when they were sibs again...she lost him. Nowadays even though she remained her tough old self whenever she was with Havana or Alex, she felt somewhat empty, a little lost as to what to do now that Blayke was gone.
Leora smirked, "Adrian, ey?"

Leora smirked, "Adrian, ey?"
"Oh, you know, hot Evil guy. I'm sure you've met him at one time or another. I certainly did when he was taking his shirt off when it got too hot. It's a shame he straight." He smiled at Leora a devious smile. "Hmmmm, he is a straight isn't he and so are you I believe, if you know what I'm getting at..."
Leora laughed, "Oh no you don't Alex, I might as straight as an arrow, but I don't know if I want to date anyone at the moment." Then she bit her lip thoughtfully remembering when Alex was referring to. "But then, he was pretty damn smexy, those abs...yumm!"
"Then just don't date him and take those abs for your self." He smiled and remembered as a child, how Leora would interrogate Havana about her private life. "Anyway," He continued "You deserve a little fun for a while." He drank his champagne, smirking at her over the rim of the glass. It was fun to annoy her.
"You know, that's a very good idea, maybe I might do that..." she drank from her glass, and looked at Alex over the rim, mimicking him, "...when he comes round next. Smexy boys are my favourite after all. Won't you just be completely jealous." He was totally annoying her on purpose the cheeky little monkey, to think she had helped Havana look after him!
He sighed to himself. "Of course. But, I'll just have to find another smexy man. They all come running at one time or another." Involuntarily his mind wondered over to Adrian and is abs. "Damn you women. He mine. I'll just have to find a way to turn him gay. Havana can help."
Leora laughed, "Uh uh, he's mine now, now that I've thought about it and realised the truth of what you've been spouting, he's totally mine." She was amused because really, she knew just how to make him jealous. Normally she wouldn't have thought twice about a guy, not because she's asexual or anything, but because she had always had other issues on her mind.
"Not if I get him first." He said filling his glass to the rim. Alex suddenly had a perfect idea of how he could get under her skin. "So...Are you drunk yet. I mean, You've already had half a glass." He said referring to that one night.
Leora shook her head. So she shouldn't have done that, because now she felt a little woozy, but there was no way she was going to admit she was already getting to that drunk stage. "Of course not," she said. She could hardly remember what happened last time, but she wasn't about to remember.
"Oh my God! I bet you are." He smiled at her "I bet you're going to get up and sing Britney Spears on Sing Star again. Havana put that on Youtube you know." He saw her face deathly pale. Oh, he was enjoying this. "I might even invite Havana over too. You know, to bring over sing star again."
"God no!" Said Leora remembering piece by piece the things that happened the night she got drunk. There was no way she was going to let that happenen again. Her? Singing Britney? Hell no! "There's no way that's going to happen again!" She declared.
Alex tried to cover up his laughing with a cough. "It got 1000 views. I showed Adrian too. He laughed, and said you don't stand a chance, me on the other hand, I do." That was a slight lie. He Did show Adrian, but Adrian thought it was kinda cute.
Leora was flushed now, not just because she was embarrassed but because the whiskey was somewhat getting to her, she put her glass on the table, and then she put her head on it too. "Eghhh you're so mean to me!" She moaned. "What did I ever do to you? I'm pretty sure I gave you half my roll once. Take about being nice."
"I was 8." He said bluntly and shook his head. "What have you done for me since?" He sighed and took the whiskey off of her, replacing it with a hot cup of coffee. "I'm not that mean. I personally don't want a repeat of that night anyway. You vomited all over my pants."
"Thanks," said Leora taking the coffee. She sat up, and sipped it, it was hot... "THAT was punishment," she chuckled. It had been totally gross and she had totally been aiming for the floor next to Alex...but for some reason her perception was really bad that night. "Anyway! Since I'm pretty selfish and all," she declared it feelingly as something she was proud of. "I'm going to ask what you've been up to, since I've been away," moping, somewhat, she thought not really willing to say it out loud.
"Oh, a little of this, a little of that. Nothing too full on. Just a lot of clubbing with Havana and decorating the apartment. I've been helping Havana out with her businesses. There's this one guy who said he needed help because he lost his mum to a werewolf. I don't believe that. It was probably something else." Yes, Havana business. After Havana got all her memories back, she refused to let anybody be kept in the dark like she had. So she created a business for those who either need help or to understand the supernatural and the mythical. Alex has spent a lot of time helping her out with that over the many years.
Leora gave a little laugh. "Sounds like Havana's been busy, and been keeping you busy too," she mused. She had been around the world over and over doing somewhat shady business that only she, and probably a handful of people could do successfully. She didn't do many of the jobs, but she did 'em whenever she had to. "What do you think it was then? If not a werewolf?"
"I can't say." He said frowning. "It may have been a werewolf gone rouge. But it could have equally been one of the fae's minions. I'm leaning towards that. So is Havana." He walked over to the kitchen to get them some food. It just seems like something they would do you know?"
Leora rubbed her face, "Guess so, don't know the details of the case, so I can't really say much." She thought about her last run in with a fae minion. That had been a mess and had added a few white scars to her side. "Are you going to cook for me?" She teased.
He pulled out barbecue flavored chips from the cupboard. "Me cooking? I ask my house keeper to do that for me. That or take away." He poured the chips into a bowl and brought them over to the bar. "Unless of course you want to cook for me?"
Leora laughed, "Me cook?" Then she changed her tune, "Actually I do cook. But only when necessary." She didn't mention that she had culinary lessons for one of her various jobs because that was a story way too long to get into. She reached over for his chips and stole some.
"Then we can just order pizza. Hawaiian for me and for you...?" Alex said, picking up the phone and dialing the number. He looked at her expecting to get meatlovers or some other meaty pizza.
"Margherita," said Leora instantly. She'd somewhat changed her diet she last ate pizza with Alex and Havana. She just couldn't stomach meat for the moment, though part of her really wanted a meatlovers with bacon on it too. But then, as soon as she thought about it, she wanted to puke.
Alex looked at Leora smiling. "You're not seriously going to stop eating meat just because of that stupid prank me and Havana played on you last time we ate pizza together are you?" He put the phone down for a moment and walked over to her with his arms crossed. "I know you. You don't eat Margherita."
Leora smirked, but she was a little pale. In all honesty, it wasn't the prank, like that would ever stop Leora, it was what happened after that put her off. Yet she didn't want to worry either Alex or Havana. "Psh, please! Like a little prank that would turn me off meat."
Alex smirked and picked up the phone again. "If you say so." He ordered the pizza's and sat down to pour more champagne in his glass. "I can never have enough of this." He looked at Leora "You on the other hand." Alex could never get tired of her annoyance.
"Me on the other hand, am done," she said sipping her coffee. Actually she was even more susceptible today because she hadn't actually eaten anything before she came, lucky Alex decided to order pizza. "But yes, I'm a margherita girl now."
He chuckled and put on his serious face. "So...What mysterious missions have you been on lately." Alex knew she wouldn't tell him but he still thought it was worth a try. Who knows, maybe with the alcohol in her system, she may give in this time.
"Mysterious missions? I have no idea what you're on about," she said completely denying it way too instantly. Which was an indicator that she lied. Funny, how after years of being alive, this was the result. It was always the same, for some reason she could never get used to the effects of alcohol on her. This is why she stayed away from the stuff when she was on missions, otherwise she'd lose.
"Really. So Havana was lying to me all those time when she couldn't keep her mouth shut about thew things you told her about the missions. Damn. I can never trust Havana again. She'll probably just send a group text to the 1000 people she has on her phone about my secrets." Of course Leora would deny it. She wouldn't be doing her job if she didn't. That didn't mean he was going to let her off easy about it.
