This book is about a young woman named Elizabeth smart who was 14 when she was kidnapped by Brain Mitchell in her bedroom by knife point in the middle of the night on June 5, 2002 in Salt Lake City, UT. While she was with Brian he drug he up the canyon, tied her to a tree, and made her marry him and he constantly raped her day after day for nine months until she was finally rescued in March, 2003.
This was a very intense book that i found to be surprising. I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading even a little bit. I felt really bad for poor Elizabeth, and what she had to go through..

Elizabeth was taken from her home by a man named Brian David Mitchell in the middle of the night. She was 14 when she was taken. He took her and forced her to marry him. He raped her everyday at least 1 time. She endured this for 9 months until she was finally rescued.
I actually really enjoyed this book. It absolutely made me want to keep reading. When I think of a biography I always imagine it to be boring. Something that made this book also pretty interesting was that it took place right near here in Salt Lake City. I would recommend this book to anyone really. It makes you want to keep on reading at all times. I would definitely read this again in the future.
