1. I Let You Go by Clare Mackintosh (book club/my bookshelf) 4 stars. Better than The Girl on the Train, and much, much better than Gone Girl.

About time I updated this!!2. One Child: The Story of China's Most Radical Experiment by Mei Fong (Radio Two Bookclub read for review) 4 stars. Excellent book, very thought-provoking - would recommend to anyone.
3. Solaris by Stanisław Lem (AAB group read) 3 stars
4. A Foreign Country by Charles Cumming (Goodreads giveaway) 3 stars
5. Nora Webster by Colm Tóibín (AAB group read) 4 stars. Thoughtfully written, very glad to have read it.
6. Canada by Richard Ford (Recommendation swap) 4 stars - Absorbing story, enjoyed it.
7. The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson (book club) 2 stars - very average, though the ending was at least satisfying.
8. Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain (kindle) 4 stars - found this fascinating.
9. A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving (AAB group read) 4 stars. Loved this.
10. The Loney by Andrew Michael Hurley (bookclub) 4 stars - excellent book, really creepy.
