Stairway to Fandoms discussion

Are you enjoying this classic so far? Or do you find it overhyped?

I actually love it so far! The first part of the book is great. Yes, the first "boring" chapter is in this part of the book, the introduction to 19th century cetology (which concludes that whales are fish), but it wasn't the least bit as tedious as I thought it would be. And yes, I know there are more sections like it later in the book, so we'll see if I tire of them.

that's great!!! I'm so far behind on my reading of it. I'm only on like, page 70. Hopefully I can catch up and finish it within these next four days! So glad you're enjoying it.
