Hey guys!

I'm Emma, I'm 23 and I live in England!

As much as I love being a part of book clubs, I often find that they read the newest releases and the extremely hyped books, meaning older ones get left on my shelf unread. So, I decided to create this group to kick start my reading of older titles!

I'm a male mammal who has way too many unread books on their TBR pile (probably because I spend too much time writing books instead, nowadays). Did finish 5th Wave though :)

I really like the idea of this group because I feel like i always come across quite interesting books which just get pushed to the bottom of my tbr pile so i can read the popular series/new releases in order to avoid spoilers.

I love this idea. Even though my books don't go onto my bookshelf until after I have read them, I do get the whole "you buy a book, really excited about it, and then something else comes out that you have been waiting for or looks really good and all of a sudden your new books don't look so new and interesting anymore". I also am trying to not put more books in my "to read" pile than I have actually read haha.
I am mainly a YA reader but I do have my favourite adult fiction authors too.

I would love to add more friends on this group.

I often feel the same, a lot of groups here on GR decide to read the news releases or super hyped books and most of the time I'm not in the mood for those. Specially, when I have a lot of "old" books waiting to be read on my shelves :)

I'm excited for Ruin and Rising. It's the push I needed to finish the trilogy.

My TBR pile on my bookshelf currently outweighs the "read" pile and that's pretty sad. I find the same issue with most book clubs, there never seems to be a time for me to catch up on all the older books that I've had forever (some are as old as 2012).

Super excited to be a part of this group and to actually read the books that are currently collecting dust.

3 years ago after getting a copy of Julia Quinn book from a dear friend of mine, i decided to switch genres and i am now totally hooked on romance (no angsty life-affirming chick-lit though). So i've got some cool horror, mystery and thrillers all nicely displayed in the book cabinets waiting to be read only to be bypassed by rom-coms, bodice-rippers and smut. So...yeah, they are my forgotten books.
