History: Elizabeth's father is the owner of a Newspaper in New York. He brought his family to the colonies to have a better start and get away from the bustle of London. When the war came, he and his son James went to fight, leaving his wife and two daughters to run the paper. Elizabeth took up the job of writing the stories while her mother and a worker of the family, Joseph, printed them. Elizabeth wrote many stories and articles on the war and congress. She interviewed many soldiers and congressmen. She even took private lessons from Benjamin Franklin for a short while to further her education. Her brother and Father both died in the battle of Yorktown. Her father of a bullet wound and her brother of infection from a bayonet wound. Elizabeth's mother continued running the paper with Joseph and sent Elizabeth to Pennsylvania to learn more from Mr. Franklin, having Elizabeth send her news and articles when she could. Mr. Franklin became Elizabeth's benefactor and paid for her to be sent to King's College.

As a child, Gisela was always the more tomboy one, hanging out with both boys and girls her age. She discovered that she would develop attractions to girls and boys, and kept it a secret so that she wouldn't be berated by all of church. When she got older, her father and her older brother Carter went to war, and she and her mother were left behind to take care of the house and everything in it. At the academy that she attended, she was happy, as she got to learn about a lot of things that she had been looking forward to learn. When she graduated, she moved to the colonies and away from where she lived in England, met with a doctor at the hospital she worked at, his name was Leo Mathe, and they worked together for about two months, as she was the nurse that worked under him. She got news that her older brother had died in the war when he was shot in the brain and was killed, and her father was mortally injured and lost his leg after he was shot in the leg and it got infected. Her parents had decided that she would get married to him. They moved to the colonies after the wedding invitations were sent to all of their family friends, and Leo's family friends. Since then, she has lived with her husband who worked with her at the hospital.

When he was born in an average house in England, his parents abandoned him because they wanted a daughter, who wouldn't leave them and go to war, that would also wed into a wealthy family. His older cousin Victoria found him on the streets, and even though she was only ten, she decided to keep him. She wanted him to have a happy life, so she made him believe that he was an orphan, and that his parents didn't abandon him. He grew up believing that he was an orphan, and that his parents had died, he presumed during the war or just in an accident. He learned a lot of life skills from his older cousin, like how to fire guns. When the army was recruiting young men, he was already in boarding school, where his Victoria paid all her money for him to attend, even if it was in the colonies and not local in England, so that he could learn things that he couldn't learn from her. At this boarding school, nobody would hang out with him, except for this one girl named Jennifer, Jenna for short. They were best friends, but when her parents were killed in the war, she didn't have enough tuition, and she dove into darkness. He vowed never to be like her, and told himself every time that his older cousin would always be there for him.
