Nicole Kressin | 8 comments Wow, thanks, I had no idea some of these took place in Iowa! I am going to finally read Bridges of Madison County, even though I doubt I will like it. I was a middle schooler in Des Moines when the movie came out (never saw that either) and it was such a big deal at the time, I feel like I should at least know the story.

Kerri | 56 comments I did some more searching and found a mystery series that takes place in Iowa. I think it's on the Iowa list, but I'll put it here anyway. The author is Donald Harstad. The series starts with Eleven Days by Donald Harstad Eleven Days.

For YA I found Red by Allison Cherry. I couldn't find it here so I went to amazon.

Nicole Kressin | 8 comments Some of the photos from the Oxford Project were hanging in the University Hospital at one point (I work there). They are very cool! I may need to check that one out! Thank you for the recommendations.

Kerri | 56 comments You're welcome. It's fun for me to try and track down Iowa books. There don't seem to be too many, but I'm going to keep looking.

Nicole Kressin | 8 comments I got the Oxford Project from the library yesterday afternoon and I already finished it. Such a fascinating book! Definitely a great pick for the book that takes place in Iowa. Thanks again for the suggestion.
