Title should have proper capitalization, i.e. Star Trek: Music of the Spheres
or possibly "Music of the Spheres (Star Trek TOS)"
(I don't know if Goodreads has a standard format for Star Trek novels.)

Author is actually Margaret Wander Bonanno

Cover image is on author's website http://www.margaretwanderbonanno.com/...

I own it as an ebook so I'd like that to be added as the edition, but I don't know whether the people who shelved it before me have ebook or paper.

Z-squared | 8575 comments i can tell you from working on other star trek books that there is no standardization, partly because there isn't in various bookseller databases that get imported to GR. it can be a real pain to try and find all the variously titled editions of the same book and combine them!

however, i've at least capitalized it properly and added the cover. do you have any other pub info? date, for example, or a blurb?

Well, there is one in theory, but the editions import (and get manually added by users) faster than librarians can keep up with them.

Also, I am familiar with the work in question. I added some info.

Z-squared | 8575 comments sweet! what is the standard, out of idle curiosity?

For a numbered book, an unnumbered one, one that is also part of a subseries . . . ?

Z-squared | 8575 comments oh, sorry, i meant the star trek ones. should it be Star Trek: TOS: blah blahblah? Or just Star Trek: blah blah? And how do the sub-series titles get integrated? or should the whole star trek and (sub-)series names be put into parentheses so that actual book name is first?

take for example this one:

I think this is the most recent discussion of Star Trek (and Star Wars, which has similar series-within-series-within-larger-groupings issues).
