The ground felt like nothing to him, no temperature no unevenness. Strange he thought given the fact that he made his way through the forest barefoot. With a deep inhale Zeus managed to close his eyes. Delving deep into the corners of his mind, he began to picture the item he hunted. An ebon orchid is what he named it during a moment of clarity he had held years ago. The flower held midnight black petals and a glowing purple center in full bloom. But to find such a plant was the part that was difficult. The ebon orchid only bloomed for a short period of time then vanishes for a number of years. Highly poisonous and hard to acquire is how Zeus made it when he experimented with his hobby years ago.
A slight chuckle left his perfect mouth as he tried to remember if he stopped his hobby for an insane thought or one of perfect clarity. Yet the answer was quickly struck away as he stopped moving just inches from stepping on the ebon orchid. "Ah there you are."

But with beauty and wisdoms grace was not among Katerina's most respected traits. She swung her head back and forth to the rhythmic beat of catchy tune, blaring from her headphones, and disturbing the wildlife. She walked on one side of the trail, the other half completed hidden by trees as she tossed her neatly folded yoga mat up in the air and catching it in her open grasp.
Her flip flop fitted feet mashed into the fresh soil crunching branches beneath her toes. Until, she came upon a rather beautiful black flower.
"Perfection", she whispered softly to herself as she bent down on all fours, discarded the mat without a care. What Lo did not realize was that her head was inches away from a mans, and what was about to occur would leave a rather nasty bump in the morning.

It dawned on him with a moment of pure clarity that the voice from earlier belonged to the forehead that had bumped into his. It then dawned on him that someone had almost stepped on his creation. A slight tingle of relief washed over his mind as the flower was pulled up in quick movements before being placed into a cryogenic lock box. "Safe and sound" was spoken from Zeus' mouth in a smooth almost soothing voice.

A thick wave of dark brown hair blocked her vision from seeing his face, but Kilo never needed to know who a person was to get mad about it.
"That's mine!", she gasped as she saw the stranger place the orchid delicately into a fancy looking box, "I saw it first!" she roared. A flush coming to her high cheeks as she roared in anger.

"Sounds like a boring hobby", she giggled, yet when the man reached full height she realized who it was.
"Zu-zu!", she let out a small laugh, "It all makes sense now". Reaching down she collected her mat, flashing him a brilliant smile, and examining his muscular and perfect core. "What are you going to do with it?" she asked, motioning to the perfect flower.

A rather wide grin spread slowly across Zeus' face. A slight hand tremor danced across as his finger gently rested on the trigger of sorts. And just as quick as the moment of insanity had come it vanished to be replaced by a moment of clarity. "Relax and don't move away as soon as I put you down." As Zeus spoke he gently squeezed on the trigger of the gene splicer. The syringe plunged into the subject's neck, the hissing sound that emitted from the device grew as the syringe pulled back. The moment of clarity vanished as the geneticist simply dropped Kilo. "Wait, what, argh my head." Zeus said as a violent shiver moved up his spine causing him to shake it off.

Aphrodite walked calmly and in bare feet. She often wandered around the forest in simple clothes and no shoes when she was having an iffy day with her anger, things hadn't been going like planned in her lab and she had almost snapped. She managed to stop herself in time though and opted for a walk instead. She had been walking for about twenty minutes when she happened on the scene with Zeus and the subject girl. She wasn't sure what was going on so she had stopped to wait and watch, only moving forward when Zeus simply dropped the girl. "Zeus?" She called, her voice not to high or loud. It made its was through the nearly silent forest easily as she stopped a few feet away, tilting her head and pushing a strand of hair away from her face.

"Now then the matter at hand. What are you doing out here during this time?" Zeus never looked away from the orchid as he began to make mental notes and watch for any mutations since he last saw the flower. "And the question was posed to the both of you in case wondering thoughts plagued your minds."
Aphrodite lifted her eyebrows at her colleague as she straightened a bit, digging her feet into the ground and relaxing a bit. "I needed to calm down." She answered simply. All of her fellow Greeks knew of her anger issues so she didn't elaborate. They all had their problems and Zeus had just demonstrated his. She dropped her gaze briefly to the orchid and made a note to ask about it later before she turned her attention back to the subject. With so many around it could b hard to remember all of their names but she was pretty certain that this one was named Kilo. "I'm a bit curious as to why you're out here too Kilo." She said smoothly, frowning when her hair fell into her face once again and opting to pull it back into a high and tight pony tail instead. She didn't need to have an outburst because her hair couldn't stay put.

In a vibrant flash of deadly white light Kilo felt a sharp pain in the back of her neck before she crumpled to the forest floor. Blinding, bright, and bringing with it an intense headache as she curled up on the ground shaking. Slowly she opened her eyes to the bright sunlight and saw what seemed to be another scientist.
"Great", she thought to herself, mentally rolling her eyes and slapping herself for being so foolish as to anger Zeus.
Katerina had always known that Zeus was a little unhinged yet she'd never seen an outburst quite like that. The flower must have really been something special.
"What the hell was that?", she moaned, her words barely louder than a whisper as she tried to stretch out her burning muscles.

((I'm going to wait for Allie to reply again))

"Well f***, why'd you have to make it hurt so much?", she moaned slowly raising up on her hands, her fingers and toes completely numb.
She looked up at him, frowning unable to remember the mans question.
"Yoga?", she moaned, more of a question than an answer.

((Alright :P))
Aphrodite sighed and rolled her eyes at the experiment. They were always going on about how much things hurt. It was easy to get past the pain if you tried hard enough in her opinion. She stared down at the girl and looked down to the side, noticing the mat. "Seems to be that way." She muttered, unsure why Kilo had asked. She should have known the answer, she was the one out here. Before she could get annoyed again Aphrodite dug her toes further into the ground and tugged hard at the end of her pony tail, it didn't hurt but it was something that helped her calm down a bit. She never understood it but whatever worked. Zeus didn't seem to be doing too great so she didn't need to lose her head as well. It was hard to control the experiments sometimes, and even if this one was acting like she was in pain it could all be an act; it was hard to trust them sometimes.

Aphrodite watched Kilo struggle to gather her things, her face remaining blank for a moment before she turned to Zeus. "Not so much. Floundering subjects never help my mood but I'm sure the agitation will pass soon" she said smoothly, readjusting the lab coat she had left on in her rush to leave. She unbuttoned it and slid it off so she was standing in her usual jeans and tank top. She tugged at her hair again. "And yourself?"

Aphrodite turned to watch the experiment leave before she looked at Zeus again, draping her lab coat over her arm, a small and careful smile spreading across her face. "That sounds lovely. It might help, your plants are wonderful" she said, sliding her free hand into her pocket. She blinked once and met his gaze easily.
"So." Foxtrot said cheerfully as she turned to look over at him, though she was smart enough to keep her voice down. "How are we going to catch a fox..." She mused, squeezing his hand lightly in hers. "I mean, they're clever little things, even as kits. You better have a big genius plan..." She teased.

Scarlet moved through the forest a bit, sticking to the shadows and avoiding areas with too much light. Her eyes were particularly sore that day and she didn't want to risk going into light. She sighed softly and walked for a while, stopping when she heard whistling followed by coughing. She looked around and frowned, running a hand through her hair and moving towards the sounds. "Is someone there?" She called, her voice soft but floating through the forest.

Scarlet followed the sound of the coughing and stopped when she saw a man, studying him as he spoke and turned to face her. "Are you okay?" She asked, sliding her hands into her pockets and biting down on her lip. The man standing before her looked pale and had some blood on his chin, not to mention how bad the coughing had sounded. It sounded painful and she wasn't envious. She rubbed her eyes a bit and blinked at him, letting her eyes focus in on him again.

Scarlet studied him with a frown. "My eyes are sore. I just had an experiment done." She said warily, tilting her head a bit. "My name is Easy. I've been here for a few years." She said biting her lip in thought. She was surprised that the scientists were still bringing new people to the island, she wasn't sure if they rally needed them and she wasn't sure why. Maybe they had newer experiments or something, but it wasn't really her place to ask. She slid a hand through her hair so it was out of her eyes and blinked hard, the little light that was around her was stinging her eyes.

"I think it's to keep us from connecting to Our past" easy said with a shrug. "Mine could be connected to a job I used to have or because I'm so willing to the experiments. There's not really a rhyme or reason to it." She said with a shrug. She shifted her weight a bit and dropped her gaze to the ground, looking at the miss and a few flowers. "Do you mind if I ask why you're here?" She couldn't remember why she had came to the island at all but the others all seemed to have such good reasons, she often wondered if her reason was good too.

"I think the word is prostitute" easy said with a shrug. She was never severe tube about her past, but she was secretive about other things. She frowned at the explanation of his disease, her head tilting to the side. "Well that's certainly a good reason. They should be able to fix it, though there might be other consequences. But it's worth it." She said, moving her eyes around and moving forward. "Do you want to keep walking?" She asked

Easy shook her head a bit "no. I wasn't like those but I don't remember a lot." She said with a shrug before she continued to walk, moving for the deeper parts of the forest. "Side effects? Well with my eyes I have great night vision but the sun hurts a lot, especially after the experiments. I've basically become nocturnal." She explained, walking at a slow pace and looking around the area, taking everything in. "I also still go through withdrawals. They tell me I was addicted to some kind of drug. But I don't remember, I don't remember a lot about my life before the island." She said with a slight shrug. "It all depends. It can be emotional too."

"Yeah it's a very double edged sword" Easy said, moving around a fallen tree, a smile crossing her face at the joke. "And yes. I love the forest a lot more than anywhere else. It's my favourite place on the Island. It gets pretty dark when you get deep enough in and the animals are very nice down there." She looked back at him and smiled softly, her eyes lighting up as she spoke about the forest.
