Our pool is going strong. In case we have a tie in the end of the voting deadline, a new poll will be open only with those titles that were on the top with the same number of votes. The poll will be open as soon as the other closes and it will remain open for 48 hours.
In order to start our first reading in February instead of March, some changes were made:
- Deadline for voting on the February poll: January 20th (if you haven't voted yet, please do. It had been a tight race).
- Deadline for voting on a secondary poll: in case of a tie between two or more titles in first place, a secondary poll will stay open from January 21st to the 23rd.
After the February book is chosen, I'll open a thread for the nominations for March readings.

So far, 1984 is the leader of our poll. I read it for the first time when I was about 13 years old. I remember I struggled the whole time. The only reason why I didn't give up was The Diamond Dogs.
I hope it was a case of a not-age appropriate reading, because I've been meaning to reread it for a long time.

Apparently 1984 is THE ONE! For those who haven't voted yet there's still time to do it!
Guys, this group is amazing! I wish I could participate more, I promise I will share the reading experiences and collaborate as much as I can. Still trying to put some ideas together in the first chapter of my thesis.
Cheers! :)

A Clockwork Orange is one vote behind... And many members haven't voted yet. Maybe there will be a surprise hahahaha

I already set the first poll based on 10 books that were mentioned by Bowie in his top 100 must-read books. I chose 10 of the most accessible books to make sure that most of you get your hands on the material in time. The poll will close on February 10th.
