The last chapters were my favourites! Especially when Lia burried the fallen soldiers, that was so brave of her. And that romantic moment when Rafe arrives and Lia discovered he's the prince!

Do you even know how long it's been since a book has made me cry? I just can't right now with Walther. I can't.

I love the pace of the book and how through out the book your traveling to different locations in the world.

I loved it. Devoured it and immediately picked up the sequel.

Okay so I finished this book the other day and, I am at a loss for words. Initially, I didn't think it was going to be something special. As I read the books, I just became engrossed in the emotion and I laughed and cried and it was just an amazing book. Especially the plot twists and surprises that I didn't see coming. I am going on to the second book as soon as I finish the one I am reading now. My favorite part was when she was burying Walther and the other men that were killed. It was touching and I cried the whole time.

it must of been a real surprise to find out that Rafen is Prince. can't wait to get the second book!

God, I felt so sad when Lia watched her brother die. And when she buried him. Oh God. The ending was a cliff hanger. Now I'm so excited for the second book. I'm also glad that Rafe is with Lia right now. I was kinda worried that they wouldn't see each other until she's out of Vendan. I'll be getting the second book soon and hopefully it will be even better than this one!
