So, last week The Shannara Chronicles just started airing on MTV. I haven't watched the show yet, and not read the book, but if you'd like to talk about it, either the adaptation or just the TV show you can do it right here!

I've watched the trailer, seemed okay

I've watched the trailer too, and it seemed great! I'm going to watch it with my sister but she wants to wait until there is more than 3 episodes.

I've heard it's based on the second book, or something...

Ooooooh the first book (not the original series btw ) was really good! Super excited for the show!

Not yet, it's not over here in Ireland. :(

In France neither, but I download most of my shows from the Internet, otherwise I have to wait 2 years to watch an episode.

Yeah, more or less, unless you have cable television. But cable is quite expensive here.

That's what I Thought Too, and Then I Read The Press Release About It Being a 10-Episode Season.

That's about 50 pages an episode. That's why I always think that TV makes better adaptation from book than movies, you can really go into details in a TV show.
