The Elite Readers discussion

Hey everyone – I'm the author of the YA urban fantasy sci-fi series the Embodied trilogy and I’d love to have your help deciding what to call the final volume. Books 1 and 2 are titled Silent Symmetry and Starley's Rust, and I’m polling friends and fans to choose one of three options for book 3:

Diamond Spheres

Diamond Splinters

Diamond Scars

If you haven’t read the other books in the trilogy, no problem! I need a title that will appeal to casual browsers in the Amazon store. Yes, I have a personal fave, but I thought it would be fun to collect some other opinions. And as we all know in this social media age, everyone has an opinion.

So please write your choice of title in the thread and earn my eternal gratitude! By all means tell other readers too.

PS – The book is being edited right now and should be out by spring, followed by a single-volume version of the trilogy.

Actually all three are very appealing... But I'd go for "Diamond Splinters"! :)

Thanks, Mihlean! Everyone seems to prefer those two in the various groups I've polled and on my website. I don't know whether that's good because it means I'll have a cool title no matter which one I choose, or bad because it doesn't help me decide!

No problem at all. I understand the struggle you're going through, but I think you should just trust your gut - you won't be able to do wrong anyway. It's your book, you're the creator, it's your decision! :)

I actually really like the idea of Diamond Spheres. The paradox (?) is really eye-catching but Diamond Scars is also great. I don't particularly like Diamond Splinters but that seems to be ruling out haha!
