Seriously though, who hasn't written such a letter at one time or another?
I'm pretty sure he knew he'd eventually be found=out by the youtube generation ; that's why when he had Mr and Mrs Porter have a good-round go at it he sublimated it all under a nice polite gloss of cricket.
