Although there are numerous villains (Jarvis, Leo, the constable whose name escapes me right now), Wilcox is by far the most despicable. He's a monster in the truest sense of the word.
I think his son, Bayard, was right behind him.
Maitland was the name of the idiot constable. I found it interesting that he was only fired.
I have to add Amanda here because she knew her husband was killing women. She just didn't care.

I've never been one to subscribe to genetically inherited "bad" behavioral genes (despite my glib statement above). With a mother like Amanda and a sick pup for a father, this kid didn't stand a chance. No nurturing here.
