Jenny (Reading Envy) (readingenvy) | 118 comments I've been poking around for recipes, but of course most are just Sudanese. Useful but not specific. I came across a pamphlet of recipes created through an initiative in Australia to prepare food for refugees from their homeland.

They say
"The Good Food for New Arrivals project is a successful example of collaboration between a non-government welfare organisation (ASeTTS) with a state government health organisation (EMPHU) utilising Commonwealth government funding (National Child Nutrition Program)."

And here is the pamphlet!

I'm going to make kissra and some kind of stew this weekend. I'll report back!

Marieke | 2459 comments Excellent Jenny! I am too impatient for the pamphlet to load on my phone but I will check it out later. And most likely try to make something myself before we move on to our next stop :)
