selene walked around the forest at dusk.She could sense small animals scurrying by.

Sam had been walking about the forest with his pack mates a while back but got lost in the chase. He was close to something strange and he knew it

Selene sensed someone else in her territory.She went to investigate.

Sam caught a deer around their but didn't kill it he just wrestled it down a little and pet it

She heard some noises and went in that direction.She saw a boy petting a deer."who are you?"

" Just a passerby". Sam said as the deer seemed to relax under his hand it started to rest a bit adjusting itself

"ok."she said looking at the deer confused."and why do you have a deer?"she asked.

" I like animals , and it's easy to hunt deer when you smell like one". He said still petting it this one deer after close inspection was preganant

she couldnt help smiling."well this deer seems to sense you're not dangerous to it."she bent over and started petting it.

Sam smiled at Hera bit as he let the deer go . It stood up and started trotting around them

she smiled then looked at him."im selene by the way.'she extended her hand."you can call me sil."

The deer slowly and allowed it to rise and move around them , slowly sniffing them all.

" She's still curious about us". Sam said letting it sniff his hand." My names Samuel , by the way , though most of my friends call me Sam ".

"nice to meet you sam."she smiled"and this lovely deer too."

Sam nodded looking at it as sniffed them both." Go back home now". He told the deer and it seemed to understand but not obey.

"it wants to stay next to you."she smiled."it really does like you."

" No she's just curious . I smell interestung to her". Sam explained with a calm face

She laughed."oh."she stood up straight."I still think it's veryyy cute."she pet it again.

The deer ruubed its head under her palm before leaving, runnigg fast its es ara perked." We sho I ld run also. Poachers are near". He said standing up face calm. Yet definitely not happy

"You're right."she said as she started running off into the deep woods,sending them near.

He moved after her . He put his arm on her should slowing her down." Woah darling let's move away from the animals and hunters". He said as he lightly turned her towards the left his limp now a bit more apperant.

"Oh yeah sorry."she grinned.She noticed his limp."what happened to your leg?"she asked looking at him.

" A chase in which i tore a tendon a lobg time ago". He said trying to fix hiw limp but it was apermanent rhing now." I can run but walking is uncomfortable".

She looked at him."I can fix it,I can heal people."she smiled as she bent over to see what she could do.

"Dont worry for it, right now. We still have poachers to outrun". He said as he passed through some trees and he goylt to gis cabin , a large wooden cabin with a fire place and chipney.

She followed him there.She went in after him."nice comfy place you've got."She smiled at him softly.She could sense the poachers lurking in the forest.

The cabin was incredibly comfy with a beautiful large fire place with dark grey and black stone forming its incredible contrast of the light cream of the interior wooden walls .

Its was all perfectly also tied with delecare darker wooden tones for furniture many of which was formed from animal skin although it was fake, it still gave the comifortable touch and feel. Especially with the light crakle of the fire.

Sam sighed and smiled." Their is no place like home". He said as his chest relaxed and he sat down waiting to see if the poachers got anywhere near the cabin or the animals near his cabin which were all under his protection." So do you mind elightening me, why were you in the woods?"

She smiled at him."I am a vampire and vampires love hunting at night time.I was being bored and all the animals were running away so I was getting frustrated but then I saw you there playing with a deer so I went to investigate."She finished."why were you in the woods?"

He lookwd at her carefully if she was a hundred percent sane." Im entrusted with this part of the woods and all its creatures. No poachers can hunt out of season or can take more then whats needed without going through me". He said raising a finger and pointing at himself. He seemed very intent to do his job perfectly." And if you ever find any reason to come to the woods feel free to come in here just leave a note if you ever come in". He said as he runbed his fiot a bit while sitting down on his chair, a very large oak wood cgair with elegant furnishing, a wolf crest elegantly etched on oone of the sides.

She smiled at him."I see you're doing your job well."She yawned then because she was sleepy.Her eyes started closing,she had been up the whole day and now she couldn't stay awake any longer."I should go."She said as she tried to rub the sleep away.

A small howl was heard from a long way away." You can sleep on my bed ". He said pointing at the empty bed in a doorless bedroom a small lamp and manny books were piled near the bed and a bow with a stock of arrows all modern were on the wall.

She smiled softly."where will you sleep?"She asked,her eyes drooping more,as she got up.

" When i asleep should be when you are wwll rested" . He didnt say this out of chivalry, he just knew ahe qould be wwll rested by then." Now go rest plus i have dogs and a great couch".

"Ok Thankyou"she smiled sift,y."good night"She started walking to his room and slipped into his bed,pulling the sheets over her as she dozed off peacefully.

Sam took some extra blanketa from the drawer and set some out on the couch near the fire place and he just started reading his eyes constantly darting up from the page he was reading to absorb his surroundings in detail. Taking in every bit of information evwn the soubds of the wild nearby.

Selene woke up and stretched.She felt better now that she had slept and she was all fresh and hyper as usual.She came out if the room to see Sam.

Sam was dozing off he was almost donw with the book but was too tired to keep going." I' ll be napping now also. If you are hungry there is food on the fridge". He sqid as he webt to his room to sleep.

"Ok then."Selene smiled softly as he went to his room.She went to look through his collection of books and took one out and began reading.

Sam slept cwey quietely . He had the blanckets wrapped around him and his clothes were now a more comfortavle shorts and shirt.

Selene kept reading,the book was very interesting.Soon she got up and went to the kicker to make herself breakfast.
