[ ] a book published this year
Assassin's Heart (Assassin's Heart, #1) by Sarah Ahiers Assassin's Heart
[ ] a book you can finish in a day
Ruthless by Carolyn Lee Adams Ruthless
[ ] a book you've been meaning to read
The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom The Time Keeper - about what you'd expect, but not bad
[ ] a book recommended by your local librarian
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins The Girl on the Train - a good read, and full of twists and turns right up until the end.
[ ] a book you should have read in school
Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut Slaughterhouse-Five - this is a classic and I can see why - I loved it, even if it was still a little scary
[ ] a book chosen for you by your spouse, partner, sibling, child, or BFF
[ ] a book published before you were born
Across the River and into the Trees by Ernest Hemingway Across the River and into the Trees
[ ] a book that was banned at some point
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury Fahrenheit 451 - seriously good, but disturbing, like all great dystopian literature
[ ] a book you previously abandoned
The Devil You Know (Felix Castor, #1) by Mike Carey The Devil You Know - just didn't hold my interest, but I guess not bad
[ ] a book you own but have never read
Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood Alias Grace
[ ] a book that intimidates you
The Garden by Elsie V. Aidinoff - this started simple and innocuous enough, but within the first 50 pages this is a story that just tested me
[ ] a book you've already read at least once
First Test First Test (Protector of the Small, #1) by Tamora Pierce
