Whew! I finally finished this book. I started it sometime in early 2015. It is long and has a huge cast of characters. Somewhere in the middle I got bored and so I set it aside for awhile in pursuit of other more interesting books to read. Then I picked it up and got bored again and again... Finally with about 250 pages left, I powered through. Surprisingly this last quarter of the book held my attention pretty well.
