So i had an idea and wondered if anyone else would be willing to have squire ranks? starting with initiate, then basic Squire and going up to Dorian, Blood Rite and having a council of say half a dozen?

what does everyone think?

Well DH I was thinking, depending on how much interest we get with it, setting challenges/tasks that help people advance and we have a vote to establish 3 head council members and then possibly promote another 3 members then have heads of Blood Rites, Dorian, Theti, Oracles and Lekti then some normal Squires, just a bit of an idea

Sounds pretty cool. Would it be a role play kind of thing? Just to be clear? Or?...

It could be some RP, it could just be a social structure. It could essentially be anything we want it to be

Adam, I'm curious ... what are your ideas on how to keep track of ranks, if it takes off? Are you looking to set up a thread specifically for this, and keep track of it specifically in that thread?

There was one member who had set up a dice game, and she kept track of it in a thread, as seen here:

Is that what you're thinking of, for keeping track of who has what rank?

Basically Charlotte, the people who are appointed as the squires council will be tasked to keep track, each appointed task will be given points, the more points you get the more advanced you become and I'm thinking when you get to a certain points level you can choose a squire path, i.e. Blood Right, Dorian. We can do it however people want, whether they'd like it to be a RP system where they pick there own DH and do squire-y tasks for them. It can be whatever we make it essentially. It

I'm a plain ole Squire to the all time best Squire, Nick! But I'm not sure I want to know what he'll need me to do for him these days; gotta wait a bit until he comes out of this Malachi rage he's still in!

Adam, you need to create the thread for this!

If this is something everyone wants I will most definitely create the thread but how does everyone want to do it? do you want to select a squires council and then be assigned a DH to work for like they would in the books and then RP it with certain task you need to do a month to progress?

I'm still interested and still curious what it would look like.

I've got a note book filled with stuff lol its written in a way that will best work with what I have written above. but its up to everyone else I don't want to control this, I want it to be a joint thing

i think more may be interested than the thread shows but aren't clear how it would be so there's a bit of wait and see.

i'd suggest go for it, the visionaries will be right there and others will come as they understand it better. the idea is there and simmering for months. I'd vote do it.

In that case we need to vote for a squires council.

7 people are going to be needed, so everyone please nominate who you'd like on it and then we'll take it to a vote

There are eight people in this thread I'll nominate them all (except me) because they've shown the most interest and would help support you best

also i'd suggest a note to the membership or a new/refreshed thread so it could go to everyone that may not get this thread.

I think an odd numbers probably the best shout peps, the if we get a tie the head of the council as it were can make the deciding vote. I'll make a separate thread so people can nominate who they like.
